A Girl NEVER Reveals her Secrets

The Beach

"That's a great idea!" Elizabeth at once exclaimed.

"I'm up for the beach!" Diane squealed.

"I've never been." Elaine admitted.

"Well, then we're going to spend a day at the beach." Meliodas declared. "Ban, get us cooking a very large picnic!"

"Right!" Ban replied, walking to the kitchen.

"Elizabeth, you're in charge of getting the girls ready, that means you Zenith." Meliodas pointed to Elizabeth.

"Yes Meliodas!" She giggled.

"King, you're going to supervise and Estarossa can do whatever the heck he wants, I don't really care."

"Hey!" Estarossa yelled. "What are you doing?"

"Talking to Hawk's Mama." Meliodas smirked before walking out the front door.

About an hour later, Hawk's Mama stopped walking at a beautiful sandy beach. Barely anyone was around for miles so they had the white sands and the clear blue water to themselves mostly.

Everybody exited the tavern in swimsuits and made their way excitedly to the shore.

Elaine was in a white one piece swimsuit with a keyhole back and Elizabeth was in a black and white bikini. Diane had on an strapless orange bikini and Zenith had a red bikini on with gold trimmings.

The boys were all in trunks. Estarossa had on blue, King had on green, Ban wore red and Meliodas had on black.

Elizabeth lay out the towels and the picnic stuff.

The boys all ran straight into the water except for Estarossa who didn't want to get his hair wet.

The girls sunbathed and chatted.

"So, how is life with Ban?" Zenith asked Elaine.

"It's great! We mostly live in the Fairy King's Forest with Harlequinn but we go lots of places too, like little villages and cities and places he came across." She replied.

"But no babies yet?" Elizabeth giggled.

"What?!?!" Elaine went bright red. "How did-"

"Such a shame." Diane smiled.

"S-Shut up." Elaine stuttered. "How's life with Harlequinn?"

"I love it! He is so sweet and sensitive and caring, though he is a bit shy." Diane smiled. "He isn't as good a kisser as you and Meliodas, Ellie."

"What?" Elizabeth said, startled.

"We had a demonstration during the game, didn't we? He has to be a good kisser if you learned that much in a year."

"Diane!" Elizabeth gasped.

"It's true." Diane giggled. "I mean, if we hadn't stopped you after two minutes, you'd probably have had sex right there on the table."

"DIANE!" Elizabeth turned bright red.

"Which brings me to my next question. How is the captain and you?"

"Amazing. The tavern is fun to run together and he is always really nice to me, even though he may be a little perverted at times. And I love him, so-"

"Awww." Elaine sighed happily. "What about you Zenith?"

"Uhh, I don't really have a love life to be honest." She answered.

"What? Really?" Diane inquired. "You've never dated anybody?"

"Well, I did date this one girl..." Zenith trailed off.

"Who?"

"Her name was Gelda. She accepted both me and Zeldris, and the first one that wasn't my brothers to do so. I really, really loved her..."

"What happened?"

"I'd rather not talk about it." Zenith said evasively. "How about lunch?"

"Sure." Elizabeth nodded happily. "BOYS! LUNCH!"

They came rushing over. The sins, Zenith, Elizabeth and Estarossa all talked about trivial things.

They all went into the water after lunch had settled. Meliodas thought it would be funny to pull a prank on King, who was floating in the air.

"Watch this." He whispered to Ban.

Meliodas silently swam over to where King was and deliberately pulled him into the water. King squealed like a girl. "Captain!"

They all errupted into fits of laughter. King blushed, embarrassed.

They played around for a while. The eight of them had a splash fight which  Diane won. She soaked everybody and sent them flying towards shore.

"Oops." She said.

They were all swimming around happily until an underlying current grabbed Elaine and pulled her under.

"Help!" Elaine spluttered before going completely under.

"Elaine!" King cried.

Everyone stopped and turned but Ban was there first. He dove under the water and swam frantically to the sea bed to grab the fragile fairy. He picked up Elaine and swam to the shore.

Sitting on the beach, he pushed against the tiny fairy's chest until she spluttered weakly.

Everyone sighed in relief. Ban grabbed a towel to wrap Elaine in and that was when they headed back to the tavern.

Later that day, when Elaine was in bed, with a cough, Ban walked in.

"Hey." She coughed weakly.

"Don't strain yourself." He said. "Why did you go so far out?"

"I d- didn't realise how-" Elaine coughed.

"I know. Don't scare me like that." Ban sighed. "Go to sleep, you need to rest."

Elaine's eyes started to droop. "Thank you..."

"Your welcome." Ban watched her sleep. He planted a kiss on her lips as she slept. "Don't fret, we'll tell everyone tomorrow."
