"Are you Mad?"

"Inuyasha..don't scare the girl." A female voice cried out as I turned to see who forced me off the ground.

A young man with long black hair, red kimono and barefooted and wearing an old worn out sword.

Saw another come into view, Lord Sesshomaru walking toward Maymay with a sword drawn as he kept looking at Maymay as if to see something no one else could see.

To my horror he stops beside Maymay's lifeless body aiming to strike.

"My God!!! Are you mad??" The woman is already dead." I screamed as I went to lunge for Lord Sesshomaru to stop him.

The black haired man acted quickly and held me tight as I took him with me to my knees as I begged for mercy for Maymay.

Felt the man's arms lighten up, i shook him off and crawled over to Maymay crying. Thinking the whole time how could anyone be as cold as Lord Sesshomaru...No one.

"Child your crushing the life out of me." Maymay said as she patted my head. I jumped back from her.

"She was dead, I witnessed her death, I held her." I said looking at Maymay as she tried to sit up.

"Sesshomaru, your such a jackass." The girl doesn't know of the power your Tenseiga has."" The young guy growled at Lord Sesshomaru.

I looked back at the two men go at it back & forth.

"What power? What is he talking about?" I asked still sitting on the ground.

"Stupid's sword can bring life back to one that had died, that is what he did for the old woman, he gave her life." The black haired guy said as I looked at Lord Sesshomaru who acted like it didn't faze him a bit.

"Late as always little brother." Lord Sesshomaru said back in a sour tone of voice.

Watched both men as I helped Maymay up with the help from the young girl that came with the black haired guy. I wondered how these two could be brothers, they are like day & night.

"Brothers, but...how?" Ah hell never mind." I said as both looked at me like I should have known they were brothers.

I stood with Maymay as she watched her home burn down.

"So...who's the chic?" The black haired guy asked.

"Raven..."Lord Sesshomaru said in a long drawn out tone.

"Your sister, Inuyasha." He finished saying before going and sitting down near where Rin was with Ah-Un.

"Sister, then don't that make her your sister as well?" hey wait I'm lost." The black haired one said.

"I can tell your human tonight Inuyasha." Lord Sesshomaru said as I listened closely to see how his Lordship was going to explain this one.

A frown crossed Lord Sesshomaru's brow.

"My mother...she took a human to raise." Lord Sesshomaru said it in a way to make me feel soooo Loved...Not.

I shook the look that the young girl was giving me. I wanted to tell her to not pity me.

"You mean the cold evil B-----." Inuyasha said as I cut his words short.

"Don't you dare say it." You don't know her." I said taking up for the one I now called "Mother'.

"Her past is in the past...where it should stay." I said walking off pissed that Lord Sesshomaru never spoke up for his own mother.
