Song: Ain't No Mountain High by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell.

The pressure was one I had two days until my first competition, myself and Taylor were under stress, especially if billions of eyes are judging and watching you to make them proud.

It felt odd sitting in the stands, usually I'm on the ice, but not today, it was Canada vs. Norway. We all stood up to do both National anthems, I still didn't know Canada's anthem and I felt like an idiot. Maybe I could ask Colton to teach me, but he will probably ask me to teach him the Australian anthem and I did not want to show him my music side. I didn't realize we finished when everyone started clapping and hollering. I sat down and saw Tay come up beside me.

"Good morning honey!" Tay said with happiness in her voice.

"Well good morning to you too," I replied.

"So the coach is short a trainer and I said you are a doctor and they would like you to watch just for this game, please say yes," Tay begged.

"I'm still a student! I'm not registered as a full doctor," I acknowledge.

"What if it was a child who was hurt while you were walking home? Would you help them without being a full doctor?" She challenged.

I was stumped. She got me, I sighed and nodded my head and stood up. I glanced at the game and noticed Colton looking me, please don't get the wrong idea that I'm leaving. Tay got up to and we shuffled our way out towards the back of the rink. We got to the back and saw security there and flashed them our passes and they allowed us through. As we were walking down the path, the sound grew super loud meaning someone scored. We got to the locker room and I saw a player and trainer there. Tay went up to the player and kissed his cheek and whispered to the trainer, probably saying I was here, and I was correct.

"Dr. Bradley I would like you to meet Ms. White, she was meant to be trained by her mentor, but she didn't show up, I'll leave you here," Tay introduced us, she patted my shoulder and walked out the door, leaving me with Ms. White and a player.

"Nice to meet you Dr. Bradley, just call me Alex," she said. Alex had bleach hair that was dyed purple that complimented her coffee eyes and her tall figure. I walked over to them and crouched down onto the mat floor and noticed a cut on the ankle, it was small, but if there was too much pressure it could continue splitting open.

"Alright, I'm concerned about the cut more because if you apply too much pressure, the cut could continue splitting open, so just to be sure I'm going to give you two stitches and then seal it tight, tape it and then you should be good," I told them both.

I told Alex to get some supplies as I told Josh to look away just incase it grossed him out, he followed my instructions and I began stitching, he didn't flinch once which shocked me since I didn't numb the area. I allowed Alex to cover the stitch followed by a taping job that was well done. I instructed Josh to stand up to see if it was too tight or too loose, he wobbled a bit, but I held his arm to stable him and saw him smile, I told him he was good to go, so he laced up and went out to the game, as Alex and I started to clean up and head out to the game too.

I insisted to carry the medical bag and head out to the bench.

"So tell me about yourself," Alex asked.

"Well, I'm a doctor at Victoria, Canada, but I'm here for competition," I said, seeing a bright light.

"Woah, that's amazing, I also want to be a doctor, but in London, Britain," Alex said.

"You will defiantly be the best doctor," I complimented her, she smiled in return.

We saw the coach notice us and stuck his hand out towards us.

"Greeting guys, I'm Justin Brown, head coach," Justin said, he was very young to be a coach.

"I'm Alex White the trainer and this is my replacement mentor Dr. Bradley," Alex introduced both of us, shaking his hand.

"Please, just call me Zander," I spoke, shaking his hand.

We stood up on a little bench behind the players and I glanced at the score seeing that is was Norway who scored, but speak of the score, Canada scored causing more noise to be created. I don't celebrate because I'm not a party person, yes call me a party pooper.

The buzzer went off saying the game was over after 3 periods and Canada made a come back making the final score 2-1. All the players headed inside and Colton was the last player to head inside, he glanced at both myself and Alex, giving me a questioned expression. I shrugged and hopped down and helped Alex down and head inside.

"Do we check up on Josh?" Alex interrogated.

"Ya, just see if anything happened," I stated.

We headed to the room and saw the players and coaches talking about strategies for next game, they clapped and the coach left, meaning the small talk was over. Sports confuse me.

Alex walked towards Josh, me trailing behind, and we told him we just needed to check his ankle and he agreed, taking off his skate and peeling off his sock. There was no blood, which was a good sign and the cut hasn't split open any further. I told him his ankle was good and should be good and the stitches can come out. I grabbed a pair of scissors, cutting the string and pulled the line out and bandaged the cut and told him he was good. I stood up and saw him stick his hand out and I shook it, followed by Alex and we headed out to allow them to change.

Alex left to join up with a group of girls, and I leaned my good shoulder against the smooth snow white brick wall to answer a call I was getting.

"Hello?" I greeted.

"Hi Zen," my I heard my dad call me.

"How are you?" I asked.

"Fine, where are you?" dad asked.

"I watched the hockey game and they needed a mentor for the trainer here and Tay forced me to do it," I answered bland. I didn't realize I was being hugged from behind when Colton lowered his head onto my shoulder.

"We're by the building, we can meet u-" I was getting another call.

"Sorry dad, I'm getting another call, let me answer it quickly," I apologized. I answered the call and greeted whoever it was.

"Zen, we have a problem," I heard Tay exclaimed.

"What's the problem?" I tightened up.

"They moved all the Men's figure skating to this afternoon, because there's not enough snow so they have to create some for skiing and chose to move Men's skating, I already have your stuff, get to the stadium quickly," ending the call and putting me back to my dad.

"Uh, hey dad, ran into a problem, they moved the competition to this afternoon," I told my dad and felt Colton tighten his hug.

"Shit...okay, we will be there, see ya son," my dad said and hung up.

"They seriously moved it to this afternoon?" Colton questioned.

"Apparently, it seems that there's not enough snow on the mountains for skiing, so they switched the two and now I'm not prepared," I panicked.

"You've prepared your whole life for this and you are not going to fall apart," Colton replied with confidence and anger in his voice.

I took a deep breathe and exhaled and told him let's go and skate.
