Chapter 1 - Grounded

Liam pov.

My name is Liam Dunbar / McCall and I am 16 years old. I am adopted. My dad is Scott McCall   For a while now I have been going through this rebellious phase. My best friend is called Evie she is all 16 and we are both rebellious. Her dad is Derek Hale. He is very and I mean very strict. That usually doesn't stop us going out though.

I had just had the best night of my life. Although I was completely wasted which means I can hardly remember most of it. I knew dad would be pissed so I tried to climb through my window. I managed to get in and lock the window when I realised that dad was sitting on my chair near my door.
" Jesus dad you scared me". I said
" Where the hell have you been?"
" Ok so I might have gone out with Evie"( Derek's daughter, 16 also )
" Ok. Just one question why do you smell of alcohol"
He didn't even wait for my reply when he grabbed my phone and all of my electronics and told me I was grounded. He told me we were going to have a talk in the morning. I already know what that means it means he is going to try and find out why I have been acting up recently. The only person who knows why is Evie and I know she won't tell anyone.
Not once since I was bitten by dad has he explained what had happened all he said was " It is going to change you"
I just want to know what the hell is going on. I can hear things better than before. I can smell things that I shouldn't be able to smell.
I was rustling around my room trying to find my spare phone that I keep in case of emergencies when i Hear dad shout " Go to bed Liam. And by the way stop trying to find your other phone I found it and have it too."
I went to bed questioning my trust for dad.
       
I woke up feeling happy when I suddenly felt the hangover. Dad came in with some Advil. "Thanks dad" I waited for him to leave and when he didn't I sighed knowing what was about to come. " Liam what has been going on with you lately you were such a good kid. You would go to school. Do what I told you and now you barely even listen to a word I say."
" I am not having this conversation with you"

" Well it is either with me or with Uncle Derek and you know how strict he is" Dad said
" how would you feel if I got a tattoo" I said trying to change the subject partly because I didn't like where it was going and also because I also wasn't listening to what he said. " You are not getting a tattoo. You are grounded no phone and you come home straight after school and you know what. No Evie."
" I am in the same class as her dad". Now he was just being a prick. He didn't understand that I can't tell him what is going on with me. If I did i knew he would feel like he was being a bad father. I act out now because I don't know how else to act. He left the room. I knew that I was still going to see Evie even though she was probably grounded but Derek as well. Although somehow I didn't think that would stop her from sneaking out again as usual. I had a feeling that me and Evie would get the ' Derek' talk.
