"The light and dark have collided for so long, their is no grey. "
-Gwen
Beep...beep...beep...
I groaned. Another long day at Avalon High.
"ANORA! I DONT WANT YOU TO BE LATE AGAIN!!" My mom screamed.
"Coming!" I huffily replied, hitting my alarm clock off.
Going back to school was painstaking. It wasn't that I didn't have any friends, it was just the homework and annoying girls. Even my friends were annoying. But to make it in high school, you have to have friends. No matter how annoying.
I put on jeans and a blur sweater, picked up my backpack and walked downstairs.
"Hurry Anora! I don't want you to be late!" My mom said to me.
I grabbed an apple off the table.
"Ok mom. Love you!" I quickly said as I ran out the door.
I jumped in my old trash of a car and quickly started it. I pulled out of my driveway and sped to school.
It's the middle of the year, and I think it's the worst time. Pounds if homework and millions of tests. The only remotely exciting is parties, but I rarely go. It's just not my thing.
I would kill to have something happen. Anything!
As I pulled into the parking lot of Avalon, I had no idea that that something was waiting inside.
For me.
