Bonnibelle woke up and looked around the almost empty room she was in. She sighed, today was going to be hard, she hated how her parents had made them move from the busy city to this practically empty town in the middle of no where. And it was all her fault.
No, she shook her head, shaking away those thoughts, it wasn't her fault, her mum just got a new job, that's all.
She got out of bed and walked over to the box containing her clothes, and pulled out a pink t-shirt, a darker pink skirt and some white socks. It would have to do for first impressions because all her formal attire was probably creased from the long journey.
"Bonnibelle! Wake up!" Her mother yelled from downstairs in the kitchen, Bonnibelle sighed.
"I'm up already mum! I'll be down in five minuets, let me get dressed!" She yelled back, closing her bedroom door so she had privacy.
After she had gotten dressed, Bonnibelle ran down the stairs and looked around the kitchen, she still wasn't too fond of her new house, it was bigger and she had her own room for science that didn't remind her of Neddy.
The kitchen was fairly large, with a counter in the middle of it where they could eat breakfast and small eats like lunch that weren't family dinners or formal events that her father sometimes held.
She grabbed a bowel from one of the shelves and poured some rice krispies and sat at the counter, eating in silence.
"Bonnibelle, we need to leave or you'll be late to school," Her mother said, Bonnibelle knew it was a lie, they still had 20 minuets until the school gates shut and the car journey was only 5 minuets, it was 15 on foot, and Bonnibelle didn't feel like walking while it was still cold out.
"Coming mum," Bonnibelle said, putting her pink note book into her bag and running out the front door.
The car journey to school was silent, with Bonnibelle's mum occasionally glancing over at her daughter who was staring out of the window at their new town.
"Bye mum, see you tonight," Bonnibelle said, closing the car door before her mother could say anything, she felt bad, but she wasn't in the mood to be talking to her mum outside of school. It was bad enough that they had to move, but in the middle of the school year? This was horrible.
As she approached the large yard, she could feel people staring at her, it was lucky that the school over here had no uniform, but she doubted many other kids had bubblegum pink hair like she did. Hell, she was lucky if she found anyone else with dyed hair.
She felt even more self-conscious as she heard people whispering around her, she wanted to shrink into a ball at that moment and just disappear, or maybe back to her old school before the accident, yeah, that would be better.
She suddenly felt an arm around her shoulder, and she felt like she was going to cry. She looked up to see a girl with rainbow hair and tonnes of bracelets on her arms smiling down at her. She had to be over 6 foot tall and full of more colour than a pride festival.
"Hey, you must be Bonnibelle Banner, names Lady, I'll be your guide around the school," She said, her voice had a thick Korean accent, but was full of kindness.
"Hey, nice to meet you," Bonnibelle said, smiling back up at her, trying not to be intimidated by her size. "How did you know I was Bonnibelle though?" She asked.
"You're the only person in the school, except Gumball, who has pink hair silly," Lady said, laughing a bit. "Well, lets take you to meet the rest of the gang," Lady said, and before Bonnibelle could say anything, she was dragged off to the far corner of the field underneath a large tree.
