It was afternoon when class was dismissed. My friends were leaving and I was the only one left.

I decided to walk home since it was getting dark. I walked pass the door and froze when I saw my shoes broken.

I cannot walk with my shoes broken so I took them off and continued walking while barefoot.

Again, I froze when I felt someone watching me. I looked behind me to see nothing.

Nothing...

When I looked in front of me, I saw a white rabbit staring right into my eyes.

"Are you alright, miss?" The white rabbit spoke,

"Yes, but my shoes are broken. Can you fix it?" I asked, looking for an answer.

The white rabbit furrowed his eyebrows as he scratched his head.

"Well, you see..." The white rabbit stammered, thinking of what to say.

Without any hesitation, the white rabbit had a bright idea. "I can't help you, but there is someone I know who can fix your shoes."

"Right this way, miss." The white rabbit added as he began to lead me the way.

I could feel my feet trembling, heart pounding as I raced with the white rabbit. Boy, he sure is fast.

We finally made it to our destination. I still felt my heart pumping really hard. Sweat began to drip when we stopped to see a cave.

Weird, I haven't saw this in town before...

It was miles away from school and I still haven't seen this cave ever. We went inside the cave, letting my feet touch the muddy ground. It was an uncomfortable feeling since the mud was getting all over my feet.

"Here it is, miss." The white rabbit spoke.

I tilted my head in an angle to see a whole collection of shoes. One by one, they were all stacked neatly on every shelf. I continued walking, but this time, I didn't care about the dirty mud that's giving me a weird feeling. My eyes focused on every shoes that I can see.

"This is so odd..." I trailed off, exploring the wonderful cave.

"Everything is odd in this world, miss" The white rabbit murmured as he looked at his little clock which was barely ticking.

"What is this place?" I asked out of my curiosity.

The white rabbit looked at me for a while and spoke,

"I'm afraid I can't tell you. My apologies, miss"

A sad smile appeared on my lips. It's really strange seeing these things happening in front of me. It's so... peculiar

A tapping sound arises which made me jump in shock. What the bloody hell was that?

"Welcome, my dear." A voice of a man echoed through the cave.

"Who are you? Show your self." I squinted my eyes to see him clearly.

I saw his shadow getting closer and closer until I saw a white and black fur, but mostly black. He had a hat that was colored white and red. He had the scariest eyes which pierces my soul.

"Why have you come here, dear?" The furry cat asked, getting closer every second

"Why have you come here, dear?" The furry cat asked, getting closer every second.

He smiles wickedly at me, "My... my shoes. They seem to be broken." I averted my gaze.

The furry cat raised an eyebrow, "Really? Well, you're in the right place."

He turned around and walked to a staircase. "Wait there." He pointed.

Minutes passed and the furry cat came back holding a shoe box. "You'll love this one, I'm sure of it." He showed me the shoe box as he opened it.

"I'm sorry. I can't accept this because it's too much. And besides, I still want to wear this old shoe of mine."

"Very well, then." He spoke with anger, "Take off your shoes. Since you don't want a new one, I'll fix your old shoes."

I took off my shoes and followed. I gave it to the furry cat and he smiled when he received the shoes.

I was in school again. I hardly remember about what happened lately, but I was in our school gate again, ready to go home.

Not until a white rabbit interrupted me. "Follow me."
