Don't look back, Destiney thought to herself, just keep running. At this point she didn't even know what she was running from, but she knew she had to keep running. she couldn't remember what she was doing before this, and now she's running from...whatever it was.
Destiney herd the commotion behind her stop. She hesitated for a moment not knowing whether to keep running or turn around. She calmly...well as calmly as she could...turned around to finally face the nightmarish beast that stood hovering over her. It looked like a mixture between a wolf and a lion, but whatever it was, she wanted to be no where near it.
The beast hissed and then pounced just missing Destiney. She tried to run away, but her leg got caught in a pile of leafs. The beast quickly recovered and started to slowly creep toward Destiney. Destiney shook her foot loose, but trying to run away again, she tripped over a twig. She was about to hit the ground when...
Destiney shot up into a sitting position. It was just a dream, she thought to herself. She looked around the room. she felt overwhelmed by a strange feeling she couldn't describe. This isn't my house, Destiney thought. She stiffened up as a hand softly touched her back."
"Its okay", a male voice said from behind her, "Your safe with me". Destiney didn't have to look at the man to tell he was smiling.
"I want to go home", Destiney said after a while. When the man didn't respond, she turned around. "Didn't you hear me? I want to go home", she said again, more sternly. Out of nowhere the man sat up and turned toward Destiney. you could tell the man was angry, and Destiney felt the mood of the room change along with the mans expression.
"Let me tell you something" the man said, pushing Destiney back onto the bed. He placed himself above her to where he was hovering over her "This is your home now, and you need to learn the rules. First of all, you never say you want to go home, secondly, you do whatever I tell you, and finally, you Always have to refer to me as Master. Do you understand?" Destiney did not respond, "I said, do you understand?" the man said slapping her across her face.
"Yes master" Destiney wisperd.
Satisfied, the man lay back down "very good" he said. "Now get some rest tomorrows gonna be a long day"
