One foggy night there was a bad storm and Halifax was right in the eye of the storm.This is were a family lived and they were so scared because they just moved into 34 Norm's Lane.A week later the storm came the hole family had to pack in all the lawn chairs and of course the kids were saying there is not going to be no school. Guess what there was school so the kids packed up there things got rain coasts on and boots then off to school they went. When they got there they were only there for a one hour because all the windows were shattered so they sent the school home. When they got home there was no roof on there house and there windows were shattered. Then they went in the house and there mom and dad got glass in there eyes they became blind so they had the smart idea to go out side almost get blown away,run into a power pole and get a electrocuted. After all that power went in to them they died right there in front of there eyes. the two little girls named Becca and Kayla were so upset that they lost there parents. After the storm was all over the next door neighbour saw what happen and called child services. She had no right to do that she didn't know if we had our grandparents come live with use, Becca asked Kayla, " Why did she do that now we will have to go with them and we might get pulled apart i am not going to some other parents with out you." Kayla said, " I don't know because she wants to be in other peoples business all the time and has to know what going on in other peoples life 24/7." The next day child services came to the house to talk to the children. When they got there they were so scared they didn't want to open the door. After they did the girl came in and told the girls to sit down she has a question The girl named Nina said, " Hey girls does your parents have a mother or a father or are they passed away?" Kayla speaks up and said, " Yeah my grandmother just lives in Portland main." Becca speaks up and said, "can i talk to u in privet." Kayla and Becca go in privet Becca said," why did u tell them were gram Boot lived?" Kayla said, " Would u rather live here only up the road, still go to school,still have all your friends or go and be put in a Frost home and end up anywheres like in Timbuktu with a hillbilly family?" Becca said," OK Kayla u got a good point." Becca and Kay la went back out and Nina said, " We are going to give Ms. Boot a call to tell her what happen and see if she was able to come live with u guys. i'll be right back." After she called Nina came back and said, " I'm so sorry.... Ms.Boot said u move up there to her house or you go with Nina." Kayla and Becca went upstairs to think about it. They thought about it and they both said, " We will come with you.But on one condition you try your hardest to fine a family around here that wants use." Nina said, " OK i can do that." When they got to the child adoption center Nina asked Kayla how old were you two Kayla said, " I'm 11 and Becca is 10." Becca and Kayla were waiting around for two hours and they were adopted. There new parents only lived the next street over from were they use to live and all there friends live on that street so Kayla and Becca were happy. Becca and Kayla went with there new family. The new family was really nice to the kids Becca and Kayla went to the same school. But one kid up the street named Bill said, " Why do u live up here now and they aren't your parents i meat your parent's before? Becca said, " Me and my sister Kayla got adopted because our parents died in the storm that just passed. Bill said, " Oh that's sad." Kayla said, " I know." Becca and Kayla were very happy they found a new family that was nice and they didn't end up half way across the country and they lived happily ever after.
