Choose Carefully

---Hey guys! This is my first book and I don't know if you guys will like it but comment on this part if you like it and want more!---

It was my first day at Ellis High. Nobody knew me or even seemed to care. They probably saw me and thought, 'What a weirdo! That new kid with the red hair! He only seems to care about books and learning! What a loser!' If any thought about me went through their mind anyway. I was trying to make friends but everyone just ignored me.

~First Hour~

"Welcome back students!" Mr. Young said over enthusiastically, "This year will be extra great because you are all now sophomores!"

"*Groan*"

"Well we have a new student here today! Max Klein, can you please tell your classmates some interesting facts about yourself?"

"Um," I said nervously, and very loudly, "I just moved from Oregon. And I also like to play the guitar."

The class didn't seem to give a crap and I didn't think they would but I decided that it would be better to just do it and get on the teacher's good side, just to be safe.

"That's very interesting Mr. Klein. Please take a seat. Okay class, this year we will be studying..."

~After Class~

I went to my locker to get my books for my next class when I saw that I had locker neighbor. She had bleach blonde hair and vibrant blue eyes, but when she saw I was looking at her she said, "Hey, you're new right?" I was completely confused on why a girl that looked like that was talking to me. I said, "Yeah, I just moved from Oregon."

"That's hot," she said, " Wanna sit with me at lunch?"

"Sure! I'd love to!!!" I immediately wanted to take that back and to sound more chill about it, but she just nodded happily and headed off to her next class.
