Gabriel woke to the sound of rain hitting the windows and - definitely his favourite - David's quiet snores. For a moment he just lay there, eyes still closed, and listened to him breathing, plotting ways to tease him about it. They weren't snuggled up like the couples in books and movies but they were still touching, legs tangled and shoulders brushing. It felt so much more intimate.

Gabriel slowly opened his eyes and smiled contently at the sight that greeted him. David was all bundled up in his sheets, face buried in the pillows and hair like a dark halo around his head. He was beautiful.

Gabriel rolled onto his back and hissed quietly when dull pain throbbed up his spine.

"Bad?" David's voice was rough from sleep and he squinted, adorably disorientated first thing in the morning.

"I'm fine," Gabriel reassured him and leaned over to kiss him. His lips tasted sweet and moved languidly.

David grinned and stretched like a cat, body curving enticingly beneath the silky covers. "You wrecked me," he accused playfully. "Perhaps I won't be able to walk."

"Is that a praise I hear?"

David hummed softly. "Yes."

"You spoil me."

"Everything for you, baby."

Gabriel's smile brightened even more at the pet name and there was a warm flutter in his stomach. He trailed his fingers through David's hair and stole another quick kiss. "You're the best."

David grinned. "I know."

Gabriel chuckled but didn't hesitate to scoot closer, this time to cuddle like in the movies. They were quietly talking - trying to figure out where to go for breakfast, about the bad weather that was just another reason to stay like this for a few more minutes, and the chance of them making it out of the shower in under fifteen minutes if they hopped in together - while they breathed in sync and their bodies molded together just so absolutely perfectly.

A knock at the door interrupted them.

David frowned and Gabriel cursed under his breath. He squeezed his eyes shut, willing whoever was outside to go away but no such luck.

"I'll be right back," he promised and kissed David, just to reassure himself that he was there and his.

He ignored the dull pain as he swung his legs over the edge of the bed and picked up his pants which David basically had ripped off of his body last night. The memory made his cock twitch.

However, the knocking on his door destroyed any sexual fantasies he might've entertained and he quickly slipped on the pants, nearly tripping over his own feet which made David muffle his laughter behind the duvet.

The knocking resumed and he threw open the door, ready to give whoever was outside a piece of his mind.

He froze.

"Good morning, Gabriel."

An icy shiver ran down his spine.

"Father," he breathed out.

His father wasn't alone though. Of course his mother was there with him and to Gabriel's utter confusion the woman he had met at the gym and Amanda Brooks.
