All Of Me

I've never quite understood the saying " You can't truly love someone until you love yourself." I thought to myself, well that's not true, I've known plenty of people whom loved someone quite affectionately, but hold such hatred toward themselves. Even I have experience such a thing. Then I realized when you hate yourself, you don't believe you deserve someone who will give you the world. You think you don't deserve someone to give you their time, and all the love they could offer. But when you love yourself you know what you deserve. You know that  someone should treat you with respect and give you equal affection. You know the way you should spoken to, and you know that when someone doesn't love you back, to walk away. Never force someones feelings and never tell someone how to feel. So I'm neutral when it comes to loving someone when you don't love yourself.
