"Eun-A, age 22, height 5'4..... This is you, right?"

"Yes sir"

"It says here your parents were killed.. Is that true?"

"Yes, sir"

"I'm sorry, Eun-A, was it?"

The girl nodded.

"I don't think you're the right person for this job. I'm going to have to ask you to leave"

She nodded in response, collecting her papers. She exited the dark room, her sneakers squeaking as they made contact with the shiny tiles on the floor.

Thr bright lights of the hall she walked down revealed the details of her face.

Eun-A. She was young, with a small button nose and reddish freckles staining her cheeks. Her lips were plump and bare, her hair cut just below her shoulders. Streaks of red and orange ran along curly, auburn hair. Her light brown eyes gazed down at the shiniest white tiles you'd ever see.

"Rejected. Again.."

She sighed, making her way out of the building. Taking her usual route home, she answered her ringing phone without paying any attention to the caller ID.

"Did you get the job?!"

Eun-A's best friend, Finn, shouted into the phone with excitement.

She smiled.

She imagined his expression as she responded. His eyes twinkling, his mouth hanging open slightly as he awaited her response. His freckles would be sitting on top of his pink cheeks, his narrow nose slanting down to his full, smiling lips.

"No, I didn't.."

"Why not?"

He was frowning now, and she could tell he had just plopped his body down on a bed because of the way the sheets moved under his weight.

"I'm just.. Not the right person for the job, apparantly", the girl finger-quoted with a sigh.

"They didn't tell you a reason this time?"

"Nope. That's all I got."

She paused, finally stopping at the door of her apartment. Fishing her keys out of her deep jacket pocket, she began working on the locked door as she continued to speak into the phone.

"By the way, where are yo-"

"Heyyy!!", Finn greeted, waving excitedly as he lay on her bed, his black, curly mop of hair bouncing as he did the action.

Eun-A sighed with a smile, closing the front door behind her. She slipped her mountain of files containing resumes and many more onto the nearby counter, exhausted.

Her apartment was small but cute, and she liked it that way. The walls were painted lilac, along with the curtains, giving the room a nice purple glow whenever the sun knocked on her windows. To the left of the room sat her bed, covered and painted in a mixture of robin's egg blue and white.
