Chapter 6: getting ready

A couple months later Goku wanted to show vegeta was really something special to him and he goes out to the mall to look for a ring or something vegeta would value that he could give to him when he asks vegeta to marry him tonight at his favorite place he just thinks of what could happen if vegeta says yes that he wants to marry goku and finally he can fill his heart with love again after chi chi and goten died and gohan his other son left the house to live with piccolo and have a family of his own (shhh I SHIP THEM don't judge) Goku then thinks of what happens if vegeta says no and his heart starts to hurt and tears kinda well up in his eyes but then he just thinks a bit harder "no vegeta won't say no to my proposal after all we have been through I think he'll say yes.....will he?" All these thoughts flood his mind but then he stops thinking about it and just buys what he thinks vegeta would like then he flies back home and tries to get everything set at his favorite place before vegeta comes home from training. Goku made dinner and almost got the house up in flames,fixed up the dinning area at his favorite place so he can set the food there when he's done, and he takes a shower and gets him self ready he even picks out his favorite weighted armor to wear for the proposal. Goku smiles because he got everything ready in time for when vegeta gets home he then thinks "wait where is vegeta?". Vegeta is also at the mall looking at rings because he also wants to propose today to Goku he looks around and instead he finds a bracelet He thinks Goku would value then he kinda smiles then he buys the bracelet, the bracelet has orange metal with little strands of sapphire in it he then smirks thinking that Goku would really love this he then flies home and looks around to see if Goku's home but then he sees a table with food on it and it looks fancy so then he goes inside and sees Goku with a little black box in his hand but then Goku quickly hides it in his pocket vegeta begins to get suspicious then vegeta goes and hugs Goku "so Kakarot...what was that?" Goku starts to sweat thinking that he's going to get caught and his plan will be ruined Goku just stands there quietly for a moment then he gives vegeta a kiss so vegeta can just focus on this moment instead of asking what the black box was for. Goku breaks the kiss then gives that son smile at vegeta then vegeta gives Goku a hug and nuzzles up to Goku's chest and he just stays there for a while until vegeta remembers he has to get ready to propose to Goku so then he just quickly runs up stairs and Goku just watches him in confusion "whats up with vegeta all of a sudden" a couple hours later then Goku starts looking for vegeta and when he finally finds vegeta he sees him pretending to propose to him then he smiles and just sits on the floor and watches.
