(A/N: There will be a little bit of cursing and a tad bit of violence, but everything else is fine. Back to le story. Love y'all.  : )  )

I had changed out of my dress and into my normal clothes. I walked outside and met up with the boys, specifically Jack, Crutchie, Davey, Les, Specs, Race, Albert and Romeo, my best friends. We started walking down the street when a gunshot fired. I screamed and clung onto Race, who I was talking to. We all whipped around and saw the very enraged Oscar Delancey. Behind them were about seven other people, including Wiesel.

"What do you want?" Jack asked. The boys pushed Les and I behind them and I held onto Les' shoulders.

"I wanna settle a score." Oscar growled. He lunged at Les and I, but Race and Albert stopped them. Then, everyone started brawling. I pushed Les up a fire escape. I looked back and saw Oscar following me. I grabbed Les' arm and started running. Davey looked at us, panicked.

"Don't stop, Kicks!" he screamed, throwing a punch. We got to the top of the building and I looked around for a way for Les to get down. I saw a door and threw it open. It had stairs that led to the inside of the building. I heard a bullet whiz by my head. I yelped and shoved Les through the door. I looked back and saw Oscar walking closer.

"Run down the stairs and once you get out of the building, run back to the warehouse, okay?" I ordered.

"No!" Les shouted. "I'm staying here with you!" I shoved him down the stairs and slammed the door shut and locked it. I heard his fists frantically banging on the other side of the door and his shouts of protest.

"Run, Les!" I yelled. I heard a gunshot and I screamed as Oscar's arm went around my neck and he pulled me towards the edge of the roof. Jack, Crutchie and Davey were running up the stairs when I was being dangled over the edge.

"Don't move!" Oscar barked. I heard the gun click and felt it press against my temple. Jack moved half a step and Oscar readjusted the gun's position on my head. Oscar let go of me and faked to drop me. I screamed and so did the boys. Oscar laughed and held me closer to the edge so that if I fell, the cement street would break my fall. There was also another fire escape.

"Don't hurt her." Crutchie ordered. I looked up at Davey, who was ready to attack Oscar. Like a bolt of lightning on a clear day, an idea came from out of nowhere. I grabbed the gun and emptied it into the air. Oscar flung me over the building and I heard the boys shouting my name. I felt the wind rush past my ears and I looked up. Everything seemed to move slow.

"Stay focused, Katie." I ordered myself. I saw the fire escape and grabbed on to one of the railings. I stopped and my body slammed into the iron railings. I shouted in pain as I collided with the railings. I looked up and saw the boys staring down at me. "I'm fine! Go help Les! He's on the stairs behind the door!" I shouted. I swung my legs over the rails and ran back up to the top floor. Once I got there, Oscar was lying unconscious on the floor.

"Kicks!" Les shouted. I ran to the door and as the boys unlocked it. Les flew out and threw his arms around me. He was shaking like a leaf. I walked with him across the roof when I heard a gun crack. I looked around and saw Oscar barely looking up. I looked at Les and his face was white. I felt the color drain from my own face. I thought I emptied the gun. He fell to his knees and I screamed.
"Les!" Davey shouted, checking his body. The bullet entered his side and right in between one of his ribs. "HELP!" I screamed. Oscar came up behind me and grabbed me again. I roared and used all of my strength to flip him over my back and onto the ground, just like Davey did at the dock. Oscar moaned in pain once he was on the ground. I put my real foot on his chest. "Don't mess with me or my boys ever again, you hear me you piece of shit?" I growled. He nodded and all of the boys came running up. I bent down and delivered one good punch to Oscar's face. "We need to get the bullet out." I said. Davey nodded, kneeling next to Les. "I'm gonna need some alcohol, forceps, a needle and some thread!"
"I'll go to the theater and get those!" Race shouted, running back down the stairs. I got Les to lay down on the roof. I heard Oscar moaning near us.
"Someone please get his ass out of here!" I barked. Specs and Albert seized his arms and dragged him away. I unbuttoned Les' shirt and threw it to the side. Race came back up the stairs with all of the items I asked for. He placed them next to me and I uncorked the bottle. "To disinfect the wound." I told Les. He nodded. I poured it over the wound and on the other materials. Les winced in pain. "I know it stings. Just bear with me for a little bit, okay?" I asked. He nodded again. I seized the forceps and and positioned them so they got a hold of the bullet. "On three, okay?" I looked to the three boys. They all nodded. "One, two, three!" I quickly, but carefully pulled out the bullet. Jack and Davey held down a sobbing Les. I poured the last bit of alcohol onto the wound and the needle. "Look away, Les." I ordered gently. Les turned away and held Davey's hand. I swiftly stitched up the cut and tied a rag around it. I kissed Les' forehead and smiled. "My little hero." I grinned. Les beamed and his chest puffed out. I returned his shirt to him and he admired his soon-to-be scar.
