A Rendevous

Part one

Mrs Sharma was still making last minute check on things. She looked nervy and impatient when she turned her apprehensive face, to a devilishly handsome guy standing in the corner

"Anukul is verything ready?"

" Yes Ma i have double checked everything"

Mrs Sharma "Did you check on your sister? She has to be down here for the wedding any minute now."

Anukul " Thattttttt!" and halted for a moment and said "I did not check."
Mrs Sharma "Well then, what are you waiting for ? Go right away.

As Anukul was about to leave he saw the dorr of the limousine open and a girl in white climbed down. Anukul was awestruck by her comeliness she seemed like the Greek goddess Aphrodite transcending from heaven. Unlike other girls she did not seem made up or unoriginal. She was artlessly beautiful, the lovely maiden adjusted her dupatta and joined the other girls standing in a group nearby.
Anukul hadnt move a muscle for the last few minutes , he was so consumed by her beauty that he forgot that he had aome work at hand.
Mrs Sharma shouted " Anukul go!!!!!"

Anukul realized that his mom had entrusted him a job he replied "yes Ma I'm on it " his eyes affixed on the damsel he left the spot unwilligly. Every step he took lead him further away from her and Anukul hated the idea of leaving such a beautiful site .

Anukul was back after a few minutes searching for his lady love. But first he had to meet his ma and give her updates on his sister. He spotted his Mom and Dad talking to the preist.
He waited patiently for the conversation to end.
Anukul " Ma Shreya is ready."

Mrs sharma "How does she look?"

"Fantastic as always" was his reply "Annnnnnnnnnd she is a little  nervous." He added with a smile.

Mrs Sharma "I will go to her then, Anu beta the grooms family has brought some gifts and sweets, its with the Shagun some of her friends are helping her. Why don't you go and tell them where to put it?"

Anukul was leaving to search for Shagun the grooms sister when his Ma interrupted "Son please help them, they are all girls, must be somewhere in the parking lot.

To which Anukul replied " I'm on  it Ma do not worry." And resumed his journey to the parking area hoping to see the girl in white. She had to be one of her friends he thought. He knew Shagun was a very social person and had lots of friends she would always talk about them whenever they met. He was so engrossed in his thoughts that he did not realise he was in the parking area and had walked past the groom's car.

"Hey Mr" said a voice which he recognized as Shaguns he turned only to find her standing with her hands folded and yes he had found his girl in white.
