When we reached at the party hall we directly went to get ourselves a drink Anji with some wine and I'm got a cocktail.
When party was on full blast there was some announcement to be made so we headed towards the stage where the same wall man was standing looking so good in a blue suit
"So guys as you all know this party dedicated to our Interns who were part of our organization for a month as we all know that we usually give chances to our Interns to shine and be a part of our organization I'm glad to introduce those people who are selected this year"
And here goes all the fun I was wondering why today we were supposed to know that after a week or something but deep down I knew the sooner I'll be clear with this the better I will get the look of my career.
One by one he started announcing name and I was hoping to hear my name too because just by think about it being in such a big corporation will change my life not like I needed the money so desperately but just to prove myself that I can do whatever I want on my own.
When I was thinking about my all this I found that Anji was in front of me trying to get my attention and it was enough for me to think that I Was
daydreaming.
"What are u thinking ree"
"Uhh, nothing sorry i just zoned out. So you were saying?"
She smiled and hugged me like she wanted to kill me with her grip.
"Girl you got selected for the job" she said with the huge grin on her face.
"Ahh, ree are you all right?"
I was too shocked to answer what she just asked but when realalization hit me I am jumping from inside.
And with the good news of our selection we both decided to go for an after party at my place.
"Do you want me to get you a drink??"
Asks a boy well I know him he's Jay from accounts Department. He's nice I heard about him a lot.
"No, but thanks"
"So congratulations now you are a part of Corporation"
"Thanks"
"Jay Verma" he introduced himself stretching his hand for a handshake.
"Kareena kapoor" i replied shaking his hand.
"So wanna dance?" He asked me and I nodded and we moved towards the stage.
We danced and anji and her friends joined us. we had fun.
