It was a rainy day and the sky was full of thunder and lightning. I was running faster then the speed of light while the rain was sort of blurring my vision. What was i running from you ask? Well let's just say that I was running from my dad the demon...and yes I am a daughter of a demon...but let's start at the beginning of the story

I was sitting on my bed in my room when all of a sudden I hear a loud crash downstairs I sigh and get up to go see what it was. When I get downstairs I see my best friend DJ. He's half human half sea beast
"Hey what's up y/n?" He says while plopping on my couch.
"Hey DJ? What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be at home watching your brothers or something?" I said going into the kitchen grabbing a bag of pretzels and sitting down next to him.
"Yeah I was but you see I can convince people to do whatever I want. For my half sea-beast blood." He says with a smirk.
"Hahaha. Lucky!" I said giggling a little while opening the bag of pretzels and putting a few in my mouth.
"To tell you the truth I was bored and I wanted to see what you were doing. Hey! Why don't we invite some of our friends to hang out we could go to the mall." He said with a smile on his face. I smiled as well from the idea. It would be nice to get out the house. Especially since we haven't talk to our friends in forever.
"Sure why not? Just let me go get changed and we can go!" I said running up the stares cutting off our eye contact. When I get upstairs I open the door to my room and I see a shadow figure in the corner of me room. I rubbed my eyes to make sure there wasn't anything in them and I open them again. And it was gone. I was so confused I just hope it doesn't come back again....
~Cliffhanger sorry guys I'm in school right now and I'm just now finishing it. So hope you enjoy. Tbh I kind of like this book more than I do my other ones because of how much better I got at writing. So yeah I'm a dork. Whatever!!!! KittyQ OUT!!!!~
