If you were to see Phlox walking down the road, You wouldnt question it.Why? Because her cheerful smiles and the skip in her step was a usual thing to see. So no one gave the perky blonde a second glance, well other then two red beauties. They were on their way to school when they spotted her walking. It was hard to miss her with the lavender in her arms or the flower crown in her long locks. With a glace at each other they came to agreement.
"Goldilocks! Want a ride?"

💐💐💐

Wide eyes stared after the three teenagers as the walked down the halls together. Their king and queen with their princess of innocents? Something that gave alot of gossip.
While Phlox was hesitant about getting in the car, she still did. I mean who would get in a car of two people, who intrigues you? The entire car ride was spent in almost awkward silence till Jason broke it. He had asked her how she was and did mindless small talk. Something that caused Cheryl to roll her eyes at. It wasn't till they were almost to school did things get interesting. With a small smile pilot leaned forward in her seat, being careful not to crush the lavender that say on her lap. She had asked one question that sat everything in motion. The love, hope, and heartbreak that would soon fallow. "Why aren't we friends."
After she asked the question, they sat in silence. Phlox who started to bite her lip nervously. Had I asked the wrong thing? Ran through her head. She didn't mean yo offend them or make them angry. Just her curious little mind couldn't help it. Jason who placed at her in the mirror, couldn't help but think about what she asked. Why aren't they friends? She had been kind to them before and never said anything ill to them. So why haven't they became friend or at least acquaintances? The answer was simple "Because you're to good to be friends with." The a shake of his head Jason let the words slip from his lips. Phlox thought about his answer for a few minutes before she spoke again. Choosing her words carefully. "Oh well. We're friends now." This caused Cheryl lips to turn slightly up and her brothers heart to start racing.

AN: What a trash of a chapter. I'm not really happy with this but oh well. I can always go in when I finish the book and edit it. So this the end of act one. I wanted to give you guys a small (small) background story on how their friendship started. Not really good but with school and family issues it's okay. For now. I'll probably publish again in a few days with act two.
