Day Of The Week: Monday.

Amilia POV.

"Amilia Jolee Marrlowe! A young lady is never late for an activity! Especially the first day of class!" My mother shouts from downstairs.

"I apologize! Just a minute, I'm trying to find something!" Where could I have placed it?! I haven't used it for a couple weeks, so that would explain it, I guess. We've had a two week break from ballet.

I frantically look through my closet while trying to open a bobby pin, to add to my bun. Stupid bobby pin. I also clip a black flowered hair piece in my hair, just to give this plain uniform I will be wearing, some pizzazz.

Aha! Found it. Apparently, it fell off the hanger onto the floor of my closet. I grab it, and run into the full bathroom in my room to change.

I grab my water bottle and dance bag, and fly down the staircase in a hurry. "Sorry, Mom."

"It's fine." She waves her hand, "Let's go. Your ballet class starts in 15 minutes." We head out the front door of the gigantic house, and slide into the car. Mom starts the car and and backs up out of the driveway. The whole ride is basically silent except for when I sneeze.

"Dia seal." My mother says.  Which is basically an Irish way of saying 'Bless you'.

"Thanks."

I forgot how much I love the drive to dance. We always pass this one heart shaped willow tree, and I think it's insanely gorgeous. I always stop by it on the walk home from dance.

Before I know it, we are at the studio. Luckily, ten minutes early. I won't get "the talk" about being late  with my two teachers, Mr. Reeves and Mrs. Stanton.

"Alright, goodbye, honey! I'll see you tomorrow morning. Walk straight home, don't make any extra stops." My Mother and Father always come home late four days out of seven. My Dad works late, and my Mom gets together with other rich snobby women. My brother is off at college, but he comes home in a week. His college is a little funky, on when they go on break. But,  I absolutely can't wait to see him!

Sometimes, having rich parents can kind of make your life... what's the word... They're always gone. Except for Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Those are the days we have family dinners, because they're always home that day. Time to spend another Monday night alone, again. Summer is great so far!

I walk into the studio, and head straight for the dressing room to prepare my feet to put my pointe shoes on.

Niall's POV.

Today, is the day. Today, is the day that I find out if I am a candidate for the Marrlowe Scholarship at Broston New York College (BNYC). Out of this whole city, Mr. Greg Marrlowe is only giving out three scholarships. I hope I can receive one of them. Only twenty can be candidates, and if I get to be a candidate for the scholarship, my older brother will text me. Most likely, I'll know by tonight.

I'm finally starting fricken Senior year! After this summer, of course. Honestly, if I don't get this Scholarship, someone hit me over the head with a brick. I promise I-
