What happened when you have a year left to live but your life has had complete balance?

I said I'd update on a schedule but I clearly haven't stuck to it and I don't plan to in the future. Soz mate.
This story is the plot of a comic that I am actually working on, while I am ironing out the bugs however, I have decided to write everything down on here to keep myself focused on the actual plot. Since this story is based on my comic's plot, I have decided not to use face claims as no one I have been able to find looks like my character's drawn looks. If and when my comic actually goes live (I'll probably put a link here when it does), and someone knows of someone who does look like my characters even just a bit, then I'd be happy to consider putting in a face claim here. Until then, just picture who I describe here:
