CHAPTER ONE

•••Ellie's POV•••

Mi name is Ellie Solkin, I've been told to write this story. Any way it is really long and even though I'm getting help from Laura [hey don't hit me! You ARE helping me] it's hard to explain how we happened to get to camp half-blood, it's like we've been in there for all our lives. Still, here's the story.

I was crying. I was a baby. My entire family assassinated, Only me left. The floor and walls painted in red from the blood spilled.

I was no longer a baby but a 6 year old. I started panicking just like anyone would, I tried to scape the room but all the doors were locked.

Now I was a 14 year old, a mirror appeared in front of me. My eyes were different colors, I screamed in terror. My head hurt.

Finally I was a 16 year old and looked pretty badass, shot the doors with guns that appeared from nowhere. But then it all ended and I woke up gasping for air.

"Ellie! Are you ok?! You look terrible" said a familiar voice I usually heard.

"Yeah I'm ok Laura, sorry for making you worry..." I said still gasping.

This is my best friend Laura we've known each other since I was 6, she was 7, she's a year older that me. She always cheered me up when I was not ok, and would always know how to annoy me. She always did all of this scandal when I had a bad dream, she has kind of the same story as mine. Both our families were assassinated when I was 2. We started moving from foster home to foster home every year until we met. We finished in the same foster home, a old man greeted us with a disgusted look. We were both 6. It was a 15 of October, yeah I know it's weird to remember such a day, but she was like me, neither of us fitted in anywhere, that's why I can still remember that afternoon.

"Hey! You ok?"Laura said "I'm asking you something!" I was spacing out again, that's not good. I'd been having these "day dreams" or visions lately, which mostly happened, in real life, a few days later, keeping them in control took most of my concentration, spacing out was not going to help.

"Sorry lost in space again" I said.

"Yeah, I can see that for myself, no need to tell me"

She answered with the annoying tone that made her my best friend.

"Get changed, nun Mary is calling us to the office..."

Uh-oh more bad news. Nun Mary is simply the meanest person you can ever meet, yeah that's her description.

I got changed into my usual clothes, jean shorts and a blue button down shirt, and went to the office with nun Mary.

"We didn't do anything I swear!" Laura shouted. I elbowed her and she got the message 'shut up, it's not going to help'. Nun Mary simply smiled. Not in a sweet way but in a I-think-I-might-not-kill-you-this-time way.

"Girls, you kept me waiting. I have to talk to you."

She stared directly at Laura, and scowled. "Do you know how to talk to a nun? I thought you were taught that during your classes."

"Yes nun Mary, we were." We both responded with a smirk on our faces.

"Then why don't you use it?" She asked with a surprised face.

Here it comes, 3... 2... 1... And... "I'm sorry, but why are these two here? they are only supposed to be called to the office when they do something wrong!" exclaimed sister Sarah. Sister Sarah is one of the high ranked nuns, Mary is in the lower ranks, any way Sarah was the best nun in the whole orphanage every single kid loved her, she always wore her dark hair in a net, like the rules required, but her hair is definitely the prettiest thing of that orphanage.

"The mayor nun and the others will know about this nun Mary."

Nun Mary and nun Sarah went out of the room, seconds later nun Sarah came in and said in hushed voice "you two need to go right now."

"Wait! But what happened?!?" Laura asked. She didn't looked surprised, but sister Sarah bought it.

"I didn't put those pins! I wasn't me this time, it was-"

Before a could finish Laura elbowed me on the ribs, hard. Yes, you're right it was her who put the pins on the chair. Any way just then sister Sarah started giving us directions to some one she called "lady Artemis", she also started saying old fashioned words like "thee" or "thy". She told us to go to the forest behind the orphanage, she said something about following a dear and find a 12 year old girl with silver clothing, brown hair, and a now and quiver.

"Now run and find the dear!" She shouted, honestly I had never heard her shout, it was scary since she never shouted. "Go and save yourselves!"

And we did run.
