When I woke up, Zeke's human again and his arms are actually wrapped around me again. My heart skips a beat in a panic when I fear that he used up all of his time just holding me like this. We won't be able to spend any time together today as humans. I flip around to see that he's already awake and smiling at me. "What are you doing? You're using up your time."
"Don't worry, It's just been a minute. I just wanted to know what it felt like for you to wake up with me like this." I blush and quickly avert my gaze. "You already know how it feels though. Remember last time, which was technically yesterday?"
"Fine, then I like how it feels." I smile, looking back at him. "There's something else," I smirk and reach up. "Didn't you promise me a date?" I see him gulp and he starts blushing when I teasingly smile at him. "Yes, I did."
"Is that tonight?" I bat my eyes at him and he smirks. "Yes, I have everything planned already."
"Really?" I raise a brow with a smile, challenging him. "I didn't think we even had enough time to think about it." I gently stroke his jaw. "Yeah." I can hear a slight tremble in his tone and I smirk. "Okay, then I'll see you later." I pat his cheek and sat up, leaving him behind in shock.
I hear him chuckling behind me after a few seconds as I strut out with a proud smile. One point to Eira. I change into my usual casual clothes of jeans and a shirt before I go downstairs. Just as I'm about to enter the kitchen, I hear two voices speaking. "I don't know what to do," Zeke's whispered voice travels into my ears and I prowl closer to hear better. "What do you think she'll like?" Rose didn't even try to keep it subtle. She might as well yell it at the top of her lungs. "What if it's not enough?"
"Of course it'll be enough. She's a very appreciative girl. Even the smallest things can mean the most to her." Zeke softly groans. "I wish I could show her how she makes me feel, but it seems impossible."
"There's no need. You just need to show you care." I smile as my heart flutters in happiness. I decided to make my presence known by walking in and they quickly stop talking. "Good morning." I smile and sat down next to Rose and Zeke. "Good morning. Do you still plan on going to your school and quitting."
"Quitting seems a little too strong." She shrugs. "But yes I do. Do you still want to come with me, Zeke?" I turn to Zeke and he agrees. "Good, we'll leave now then. Don't want to take up too much of his time since he has to prepare for the date." I smirk and stood up. "Have fun you two!"
Zeke and I left and this time we took a car to my school. "This is it?" I nod looking up at the building I used to see every day. We step out of the car and walk towards the school's front office. I see a few students, mostly girls, stop to look at us, or Zeke rather. I pull Zeke closer to me and he laughs. "Jealous?" I don't say anything.
I walk into the office and officially finish school in a few minutes. Zeke waits for me outside and by the time I got back, there are already girls flirting with him. "Ah, the perks of being extremely handsome," I whisper in a deep voice to act like him. As soon as I walk out, however, his eyes immediately snap to me and he smiles. Not the fake one he gives to the girls, but a real heartfelt smile. I glance at the girls and I start to wonder why he chose me. I feel a pinch at my heart when I thought about him being with another girl but quickly shook it off. He wouldn't do that. See? He's walking straight to me.
"Are you done?" I nod and show him the paper. "I'm officially done with high school." I smile as the excitement grew until it was popped by a certain voice I know. "Too bad, I had fun teasing you." Clara. I slowly turn around to see her standing behind me. "Who is this?" She circles around Zeke and I glare at her. "My boyfriend," I hiss. Clara froze and a grin spread across her lips. "How on earth did that happen?" She took a step closer to me with an evil glint in her eyes. "Just did."
