Help!" I cried, the wind howling. "Mom, don't leave me!" she turned around, her lips trembling. "I must... obey your father's orders... my Eevee, stay strong... I am sorry for this..." she fluffed up my fur, and kissed me for the last time, and left me with teary eyes. Right there. On the stupid street. The storm blew into the town and it rained immediately.

I was in Lavender Town. It was the Ghost town. Many Ghost Pokemon tried to disturb me, and I tried to find shelter. The Ghost Pokemon tried to take me down as I ran toward the only building that had all it's merry lights turned on- I knew immediately that was my only hope. I pounded at the door, my heart crawled into my throat. 'I can't make it... I can't make it...' were the words replaying in my head. Just in time, the door swung open and a feathery wing pulled me in and slammed the door.

He was a staravia, and his name was Starry. He looked at me with concern. "Are you alright young Eevee?!" "Yes, thank you," I answered. He nodded, and asked me about my family, if I had a trainer and so on.

"I lost it. All of it. I need to find somewhere safe, where i can wait so I can find my correct trainer," I told him. He nodded in agreement. "I think that sounds great... but I don't trust humans." "Why?" "My trainer betrayed me, abused me, and almost beat me to death." he said, stoic. "Then he wanted to force me to mate with a Pokemon I didn't love, so I ran away." I never felt that hatred and stuff towards humans, but it seemed very sad. "My mom just abandoned me. Like, a few minutes ago." I told him. He looked outside. "There's Nurse Rebecca. She's the only one I trust- go to her, she'll get you a room in the Pokemon Hotel." "Thank you!!" I cried, tackling him with a hug. "Stay safe," he said and ruffled my fur and I ran off. "I will!"
