Chapter 15

Hyuna's P.O.V

The same day...

I leave the building, going to the location where I'm suppose to meet Daniel. I tried getting a taxi but there's none. Urgh. The bus stop is far away, and I don't wanna walk so far.

Aish. I glanced around, still no taxis. Out of a sudden, someone horn. I turn around and a car stops in front of me. The window rolls down revealing Seokjin. "Come on in. I'll send you." - he said, smiling.

"You sure, Seokjin?" - I asked. He nodded. I walk towards his car, got in a put on the seatbelt and secure it.

"Thanks Seokjin." - I said, smiling to him.

"So, where are you heading?" - he asked. I told him the address that Daniel has sent and Seokjin proceeds to drive.

It was a quiet ride. There's nothing to talk about. "So..." - Seokjin starts. I turn to him, waiting for him to continue his sentence, but he didn't.

"So?" - I asked. He laughed.

"I have nothing to say." - he said and laughed. I laughed too.

"You know just to make this not an awkward thing." - he said. I nod, understand what he meant.

I can be a quiet person at times. "It's either we're just awkward or we don't have anything to talk." - he said.

"Yeah." - I said, plainly. Then it got quiet again. I stole glances at him but when our eyes met, we look away.

"Who's your friend?" - he asked.

"Daniel, my university friend." - I answered.

"Oh. A guy?" - he asked. I nod.

"He was my crush back then. But I didn't have any hopes on him because he have a girlfriend." - I said.

"I see. Still like him?"

I shook my head. "No. University was years back. I forget him already."

"Cool. So you have someone that you like?" - he asked. I shook my head again.

"Nope. This is why my eomma nags at me." - I said. He giggled.

"Why?" - he asked.

"I'm the oldest in the family and with my age, no boyfriend at all. My eomma nags at me a lot about this. My siblings are in a relationship. Except for me." - I said, sighing right after.

"She sets me up with blind dates and all that. I almost got married with her friends' son. But I rejected quickly." - I continued.

"I feel like I can relate to this so much. My eomma is just like yours." - he said.

"Damn. Really?" - I asked. He nods, eyes glued to the road.

"Yeah. It frustrates me. But I can't be rude. I mean the other boys have their partner. Except for me." - he said.

"I feel like we're in this together." - he said. I nodded, letting out a small laugh. (A/N: WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER! if ya know this song, you is bae)

We finally arrive at the destination. "We're here." - he said, stopping the car. He face me and smiles.

"Yeah. Thanks Seokjin." - I said, smiling.

"No problem. Be safe." - he said. I nodded and got out of his car. Daniel is already waiting for me, outside the restaurant.

"Daniel!" - I called. He look up and smile once seeing me. I smile back, and turn around to give Seokjin a wave.
