Allagash, Maine was a very, very small town. Everyone knew everyone, everyone was in everyone's business. For example, if Walter down the street sneezed, everyone would know in two seconds flat. So naturally everyone knew I was knew the new girl, where I came from, what my past was like. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if they knew my social security number too.
So, all that said, I was in a world of trouble when kids starting disappearing.
