We rounded a couple corners and we were finally home. But we pulled into a ginormous driveway that led through the forest. "Umm, dad?" I am so confused! "Mhmm?" He answered, but didn't even look up from the road ahead of us. "Where are we going?" I pursed my lips. He smiled. "Home!" As he said that we pulled into view a massive house. It looked to be 3 stories up, and about....... Hmmm....... One football field wide, maybe? I gasped. "This........ Is your house?!" My dad just laughed. "Yea, I guess it is." He turned to me and winked. "What the heck is your job?!!?" I said in disbelief. "Come with me to work tomorrow and you'll see." Okayyy, guess I'm going to his work tomorrow......

"THIS IS MY ROOM?!!!?" I screamed. I squealed and jumped onto the bed. My room was a pentagon shape, so it had 5 walls. 4 of the walls were a pale yellow colour, and the other one was white. In front of the white wall, was a king sized bed. The duvet was black with white polka dots, and there was a white headboard on the bed with little hearts cut out of it. Beside the bed, was a beside table with a cute little lamp on it. I flicked the light switch, and a big lace ball hanging from the ceiling instantly lit up. "Watch this." My dad pressed a button under the light switch that I didn't know was there. The light turned from normal to pink, he pressed it again and it went from pink to lime green. "Oh. My. God!!!!! Let me try!!" I pressed the button, but this time the light started flashing. He pressed it one last time and it went out. "You might want to get unpacked," my dad said, "Tomorrow is a big day, so you won't have time." "Okay, but I'll need some light to do that!" He laughed and switched the light to 'normal mode'. I went to the walk in closet and started to unpack. Dresses, then skirts, then tops hanging up; shorts in the top drawer underneath; pants in the second drawer; undies and socks in the third drawer; then bathing suits and pyjamas in the bottom drawer. I put my shoes in a line along the ground, but I had no where to put my scarves, belts, and hats. "DAAAADD!!" I yelled. He poked his head out from his office downstairs. "Yes?" "I NEED TO GO SHOPPING FOR MY ROOM!" "Okay Tessa, we can go after lunch. Oh, and by the way, come down for lunch!" YAAAAAAAAAYYY!!!!!" "But only on one condition." Awww, what is it?" "You stop yelling because I'M RIGHT HERE!!" He laughed. "Okaayyy......" I giggled and skipped down the stairs.

"Soo........ What exactly do you need for your room?" We were driving down the highway to the closest mall. We decided to take the stretched limo because it had more room, and I was having fun looking at peoples faces as they watched a white stretched limousine roll down the highway at top speed. "Umm..... A lot of stuff, actually." "Okay, I was hoping I'd provided you with everything you wanted and needed, but I guess not........" He sighed. "So what are some things you need to get?" "Well, I need to get a full length mirror and a garbage can. I also need some type of storage for my clothing accessories......... Oh! And at some point can I get a desk? And a beauty station? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeassseee?!" He smirked. "The mirror, garbage can, and storage, yes. The desk and beauty thing, we'll see." I huffed. "Okay."

I am pleased to say that our little shopping spree went well. I got everything that I needed, including some little extras. I lugged the Bed Bath and Beyond bag upstairs to my room and made my room, my room. I unloaded the wavy full length mirror and attached it to the inside of my closet door. Perfect. I took out the shoe organizer and clipped it to the inside of the other door. I was planning to use it for my clothing accessories, not shoes. I loaded all of them into the shoe organizer and closed the closet doors. I sighed. I was glad to have my dad back, to meet him, but I missed home. It felt like only this morning I was waving goodbye to mom. Oh wait, that was this morning. I decided to keep unpacking. I took out the garbage can and placed it beside the door, I put my stuff that wasn't clothes in the shelves, and I put my posters and pictures on my walls. I put my books in the bottom of the night stand, and smiled. I looked through my carry-on for my toiletries, and instantly spotted the leopard print bag. I brought it to the bathroom, only to look through it and find that my toothbrush was missing. I face palmed. "Of course that's what I forgot on the airplane." Groaning, I took out the rest of my toiletries, and tramped downstairs. "Daaad, I forgot my toothbrush......" "Okay I can get you one. Are you done unpacking and setting up your room?" "Yep. I just need a desk, and a beauty station." He chuckled. "Right. I'll think about it. But it's time for dinner! I was thinking of ordering in pizza and watching a movie. Janel has the night off." Janel is dad's cook. "Yes please! Could we watch The Fault in Our Stars? I have a copy in my room." "Okay, sure go get it."
