Chapter 15 "The storm"

"icebreath what took you so long" asked stonefur as he padded to icebreath. She came out of some bushed and she sighed.

"my sister" she said as she and stonefur walked into the old twoleg nest. She sat down on the floor and sighed.

"which one?" he asked as he sat next to her.

"the medicine cat one" she said depressed.

Stonefur looked at icebreath and rolled his eyes at her "somethings, what did she say" he said concerned.

"she's going to have kits..." replied icebreath hidding her face.

"s-she broke the medicine cat code?" he said surprised.

Icebreath lifted her head up and looked at him "i know....if moonclan were to know about this they would kill her in an instant"

"why....don't they know about it?" he asked as he licked icebreath's ear.

"nope...she's hidding it very well" said icebreath as she nugged closer to stonefur.

"so what's going to happen when their born?" he asked.

"s-stonefur i have to ask you a favor" said icebreath as she looked up at him.

"you want to give her kits to me" he said, preatty much guessing everything she was going to say.

"well...yes" said icebreath quietly.

"did you tell her abou-about us?" he asked worried.

"no....i said that you were a kittypet that lost her kits and would take them in" she said.

"a kittypet" he said "THATS WHAT YOU THINK I AM!"

Icebreath laughed at his comment.

"you think i'm a fat chuby cat that eats rabbit pellets!" he said trying to kid around.

"yep" said icebreath "but your MY chuby kittypet" she joked.

He chucked and looked at her. Icebreath started laughing to.

Stonefur stopped and looked at icebreath "okay.....ao when are they due?"

Icebreath stopped laughing and looked at him "anytime"

"i'm sure riverclan will accept them" he said "and if not, thunderclan will, if they let a kittypet become a warrior then, they'll take these kits."

"thunderclan?" said icebreath softly.

Spottedleaf's words echoed in her mind.

"well..i better" icebreath was cut off by a strike of lightning and a bom of thunder.

Stonefur walked to the door of the house and looked out side. It started pouring rain, hard.

"i-i can't walk back to riverclan in this storm" he said as he padded back to icebreath.

She looked out and sighed. The rain was way too heavy to walk back to camp in.

"me too" she said.

"lets stay the night here" suggested stonefur. Icebreath nodded and she pulled out some moss on the side of the house. She saw some feathers and grabbed those too. She set them down in frount of stonefur.

"lets make a nest out of this" he said with a mouthful of moss and feathers. Icebreath nodded and grabbed some as well and they moved it over to the furthest corner of the house. It was a back bedroom that was at the back of the house. It had a hole in the side of the house so if they needed to they could escape.

Once they were done icebreath lied down in the nest. It was more comfertable than the one in the warriors den. Stonefur lyied next to her and sighed. They heard the pouring of the rain, pounding on the roof of the old house. They soon fell asleep together.

As the storm raced vilontly through the two forests. in the twoleg place, the black cat looked up at the pouring sky.

"soon my apprentice will be ready for battle" he said to him self out loud.

"scourge?" said another cat emerging from the towering skyscrapers.

"yes bone" said the black cat as he turned and looked at the cat.

"tigerstar wants to disscuss battle plans"

Scourge stood up off of his dumpster he called home and streached. His purple toothed collar sparkled in the rain.

"soon my apprentice, soon" he repeted to himself as he dissapered in the ally.
