(Okay so to start off, my other fanfic needs some work I know that much but this one I've been working on for about eight months now and I think it's actually pretty good, but then again I'm still editing and changing stuff so bear with me on this one, just hope you like it!! :D)

Kiara's POV

The building was cold, plain and crowded with busy people, not a place I would spend my time if I wanted to relax or get some piece of mind. Anxiously I waited with my hands in my lap. I stared excitedly out the window in front of me watching Kelly’s plane pull to a stop. An uncontrollable grin spread itself across my face as I stood and made my way to the terminal. Another more narrow rush of people began appearing before my eyes, an elderly lady dressed completely in purple, and her big fascinator was tipping slightly at the side of her grey head. I watched a mother and her two kids exit the terminal and smiled as the two small children dashed into the arms of an older man whom I assumed was their father. Then there was Kelly, she had a beautifully bright smile on her face just like she always did even though she hadn’t found me yet. I hadn’t seen her in two years since I’d left for England, we had talked almost every day and all I could think about was how devastated she was when I’d said good bye, I laughed at her attempt to hide it by showering me in encouragement, but now she’s here, for two weeks! I’ve been waiting for this day for eight months and three weeks since she called me after her last Uni exam for the semester. She was finally on break and not too worried about assignments to get drunk.

More people moved out of the way and I could now properly see what she was wearing. I loved her taste in fashion; she strutted sexily in a pair of five inch tan stilettos, the Prussian blue almost black pair of skinny jeans I bought her for Christmas in year 12 and I recognised the sleeveless white flowing cotton top she’d shown me over Skype. My eyes watered with happiness as she spotted me and harshly dumped all of her bags on the floor before she rushed toward me, arms open wide. She wrapped her slender arms around my shoulders and held me tight. It felt so normal to be hugged by her, as if I hadn’t gone a day without a hug from her, even though we’ve been living on opposite sides of the planet for such a long time. She let go of me and just grinned, I could feel the happy tears stinging my eyes ready to fall down my face.

“Kiara, please don’t cry, you promised, you’ll make me cry and my make-up isn’t waterproof.” she exclaimed. I laughed at that and pulled her in for another hug, not letting her see the mess I was turning into, she was usually the emotional one.

“How was your flight?” I asked into her shoulder.

“Long and excruciating, especially when you’re seated next to a crazy old lady who thought it was appropriate to talk to me about her husband’s homemade testicle moisturising cream.” she huffed with a chuckle.

“That’s disgusting!” I laughed as I let go of her and pulled back, a curious expression beginning my face. “Did you just dump your bags on the floor?” I asked with my hands on her shoulders. She looked behind her and turned, about to glide over and pick them up when a handsome young brunette leant down and scooped up her belongings for her. He glanced at us, locking his gaze on Kelly as she took a shocked step backwards into me. Slowly she leaned in and gasped.

“Is that who I think it is?” she whispered through tight lips.

“Yes, mhm, that’s Liam Payne, from One Direction and he’s coming towards us, with your bags.” I laughed nervously. I rolled my eyes at myself for being so stupid. Of course it’s Liam Payne, she already knew that.

“Thank you for the running commentary.” she joked sarcastically.

“Just act natural.” I quietly suggested trying to redeem myself.
