"So, what seems to be going on between you and my big brother?" Zach asks her, tilting his head.

"Your brother has a collection of inappropriate Japanese comics." Yassie said with no apparent emotion.

"Oh, we all know that, except for mom, of course."
He giggled at his brother who was clearly embarrassed.

Zach had shaggy dark hair, thick glasses and a pale oval face, he was wearing a black sleeveless shirt and a pair of navy blue knee length shorts.

"And what have you been doing? Dear brother?"
Ashton asks his brother emphasizing the word 'you'
In a rather suspicious manner.

"Oh, me? I was at the gym room, trying to work on my diet, I've been lifting weights, and doing sit ups and push ups." Zach replied in a humble yet proud way.

"Is it because I used to call you 'fat' when you were little?" Ashton smirked, trying to stop himself from laughing.

"Yes, t-that's one of the reasons why, but the real reason is because I...I want to get a girlfriend." He stated nervously, scratching the back of his neck.

"Oh really? Well I think Selinna Hongrove is your target." Yassie said sarcastically with a fake smile plastered across her face.

Zach blushed, and Ashton hit the back of her head.
"Ow! What the fuck was that for." She asks Ashton,

"Being sarcastic to my Lil' bro is my job!" He exclaimed.

Yassie mentally facepalms, at how his job is so ridiculous. "Do you get paid for being mean to your sibling?" Yassie was being sarcastic again.

"My, my, Ash, you have quite the girlfriend."
Zach said, giggling quietly.

"Ew, no." Yassie gave him a disgusted look,
"Uhhh maybe not." Ashton replied.

"Well then, I'm gonna go take a bath, I'm all sweaty." Zach said, rubbing his towel on his shoulder.

"Well, where were we? Oh, right. Can you give it back please?" Ashton yawned.

"No." Yassie replied.
"Why not?"
"Because this book is inappropriate, and overrated."
"But they're still my books."

Yassie sighs in defeat. "Fine." She hands the books over at him staring at her, dumbfounded.

Yassie grabs her bag, and heads out of the door.
But she suddenly opens it again and looks at Ashton,

"By the way, thanks for taking care of me.
I owe you guys one." She said, her blank expression still there.

Yassie looked around in her bag, and saw a bus ticket. "You were here all along, I could've gotten home hours ago." She angrily stomped her way to the bus stop and rode her way home.

Yassie got home at around 7:28 in the evening only to see her brother Jason sitting on the grass of their front yard. "Where have you been, Stumpo?" He smirked, stupidly plucking his guitar.

She cringed at the nickname, Jason gave her that nickname when she stubbed her toe on a tree stump at the park when she was seven years old.

Jason tries to stop himself from laughing at her angry and annoyed face, Yassie sighed, "I'm so tired."

"Doing what, Stumpo?" He asks.
"Of your ugly face and horrible voice."
"Ouch, that's a little bit harsh."
"I don't care." She gave him a death glare.

"By the way, here." Jason hands her a big bundle of cash. "What's this for?" She looked at him with a confused face.

"Your pay, or salary, whatever you'd call it." He snorted.
"What did I even do?" Yassie couldn't remember whatever she did for her brother. Until she remembered last Sunday's concert.

She sold tickets for her brother's rock band, they had a concert at the town theatre. For a stubborn nineteen year old guy, Jason was pretty good with the ladies. Nearly all the time at school, Yassie always sees him surrounded by girls.

Klaus, Jason, and Gracie were mostly popular and a bit cliche from time to time, unlike Yassie who was simple and lonely. At school, they were like the Addams family, everyone loves them, except Yassie.

That night, Yassie went to her bedroom and opened her laptop and went online.

She had two notifications.
You have one friend request, Zachary Snydle.
You have one message, from Ashton Snydle.

Ashton_sama: yo Yassie! What's up?
Yassie-chan: um I just got online, nothing much.
Ashton_sama: oh, Zach sent you a friend request.
Yassie-chan: i haven't accepted it yet.
Ashton_sama: well go and accept it, or else he's gonna cry.

Yassie went to Zach's profile and accepted his friend request, they only had one mutual friend, Ashton.

On Facebook, Yassie now had seven followers
Her mother
Her father
Klaus
Jason
Gracie
Ashton
Zach

She was an antisocial person.

As soon as she accepted the friend request, Zach immediately texted her on messenger.

Zach: hey, how are you?
Yassie-chan: yep, I'm OK.
Zach: what are you doing right now?
Yassie-chan: talking to the cutest person on earth.
Zach: Aww thank you!
Yassie-chan: but she's offline, so I'm talking to you instead.
Zach: ow, that was a sick burn.
