T'Challa x Reader: Motivation

   Y/N'S POV

  As I sat next to my best friend in the world, Shuri, she asked me,"N/N, what's the matter?"

  I shook my head and replied,"I have a headache. Nothing major."

  Shuri stopped me from helping her with T'Challa's suit, repeating,"N/N, what's the matter?"

  A couple of tears fell down my face and I admitted to Shuri,"I..I found Erik with another girl, Shuri. He..He promised he wouldn't hurt me and..and I believed him. I'm so stupid."

  Shuri yelled,"What?!! Y/N, I told you to stay away from him!! He just wanted you to get to T'Challa!! I'm telling him!!"

  T'Challa walked down the stairs and said,"Hey, Shuri and Y/N, my two favorite women of Wakanda. I-"

  Shuri blurted out,"Erik cheated on Y/N!!"

  T'Challa immediately grabbed his suit, and I rushed in front of him.

  I said, my eyes full of tears,"T'Challa, please. Please don't make this worse. Please. I'll talk to him."

  T'Challa chuckled and said,"And say what, Y/N? Y/N, he hurt you and all he is going to do is say something to get under your skin again. No. You won't talk to him. I will."

  I sighed and said,"Fine, but..but just give him this."

  I handed T'Challa the bracelet Erik gave me on our anniversary. Yes, we were together for quite some time. Now, I wasn't so sure of that.

  What if T'Challa was right?

  What if Erik had gotten to me?

  T'Challa jogged up the steps and Shuri said,"You're going to talk to Erik, aren't you?"

  I shook my head and said,"No. I'm going to talk to my mother."

  Shuri nodded and went back to what she was doing. I walked all the way to mother's room and knocked on her door. Since T'Challa and I's family were very close, we also stayed in the beautiful kingdom of Wakanda.
  When she opened the door, it was like she already knew what had happened. She let me in and immediately made me sit down with her.

  That was when she said,"Y/N, darling, I know you've trained yourself to work on your emotions, but it's okay to let it out this time. I'm right here."

  All it took was a few seconds for me to break down and Mother to immediately comfort me.

   T'CHALLA'S POV

  I was furious when Shuri told me that Erik had cheated on Y/N. I didn't trust him from the beginning; especially since I didn't want him near Shuri or Y/N. Period.
  They both were special to me, and I couldn't bear it if something happened to either one of them. Now, Y/N had gotten hurt, and I could've done something to stop it. She didn't deserve that.

  I was about to exit the kingdom, but Shuri had joined me.

  She grabbed my arm and said,"T'Challa, you need to stay here."

  I argued against Shuri by saying,"No. I need to go and find Erik. Teach him not to hurt people important to me."

  Shuri argued back,"You and Erik are also family. She needs you, T'Challa. Not you to go and make Erik do something worse to her."

  I sighed and said,"All right. Let's go find her."

   Y/N'S POV

  By the time I was done crying, Mother's dress was soaked with my tears.
  I was surprised she didn't leave, but I was glad she didn't.
