Part 38| Coney Island Ice Cream

16 1 1

Eating frozen ice cream bars
Underneath the stars
That's where we belong

Where we make up silly games
String life into an arcade
Drinking in the cotton candy air
Sipping on crisp colors and fluffy funnel cakes
The sound of warm caramel melodies wafting our way
The place where dreams are made

Riding on never ending carousels of
"I love you so"
Spinning on endless Ferris wheels of
"I love you too"
That's what we'd say
And that's where we'd stay,
Day after day
And night after night
To let our worries melt away
Like a popsicle in the sun
Like the sweet ice cream love
That mingles on our tongues

Dear boy I haven't met,
Please don't take too long
Come find me beneath the stars
You bring the snow cones
And I'll bring the ice cream bars
