Prologue

Ellie always thought she had everything. She was popular, pretty and liked by many. She had the type of best friend that didn't care what you thought of her, she always had a way of getting what she wanted and she was spoiled by her parents.

This friendship was one of the always-taken-for-granted-relationships. Every time Lola asked her out to a party or a weekend holiday away in Spain, she was always paid for by her best friends parents. The only thing was, when they were together, Lola always took advantage of Ellie and made her do things she wouldn't normally do. Why? Well...it's obvious. Jealousy. A girls weakness.

During one holiday away in Italy, Rome, Ellie and Lola were having fun exploring the capital city going to posh cafes and enjoying the life of being a socialite. It was around 11:00 at night that things started getting crazy. Alcoholic drinks were being consumed and empty bottles of wine and vodka were left scattered around the room, some smashed with glass across the floor. As Ellie staggered across the room, she was almost about to fall when a hand slipped across her stomach and almost made her lose control. She slowly turned round to see who this rude guy was and wasn't surprised when she was faced with the hottest guy she had ever seen. A breath of air left her lungs and she felt her mouth drop open.

She couldn't help but look him up and down. Her eyes darted back to his face as soon as she noticed him staring. "Hi. You seem very drunk. Come upstairs with me and I'll get you a glass of water. You need rest." She followed him upstairs and as soon as they entered the bedroom, that's when things got even worse. Her head was throbbing and her whole body was numb. It was like she had permanent pins and needles. She went over to the bed and sat down. Wiping her forehead, she felt her eyes start to close. She looked over towards the room at the clock and it was almost 2:00 in the morning. Although she wasn't quite sure as the room started to spin and her vision was all blurry. A mans voice entered the room and then the room went dark. All of a sudden she felt warm air on her neck and then she felt sensations across her body. She peered down trying to figure out what the strange feeling was but she couldn't see a thing. Hands were moving up her leg and then hands were moving down her back and buckle by buckle her clothes started to come off.

Her heart started to beat faster and although she couldn't move she used all the willpower she had left to try and escape. Her legs didn't seem to be listening to her and she started to get really angry. She felt confused, useless and empty. Suddenly she was pushed over and her head hit the soft duvet underneath her. Seconds later sounds of thumping and heavy breathing echoed across the room. Sweat started to drip onto her bare skin and it started to tingle. She felt something hard slip inside of her and she knew what was happening but her body was frozen.

The man rolled over and breathed a sigh. The deed must be done...
