I woke up feeling nauseated. My body felt limp and I had a terrifying pain in my stomach. Whatever happened last night, is now all a blur.

But all I knew was to find Lola and to make sure she was ok. I got up out of bed and saw that all my clothes were scattered across the room as if they'd been thrown. Grabbing whatever I could, I put on my clothes and headed as fast as I could down the stairs. People were lying everywhere and liquids were soaked into the carpet. I looked around for Lola but I couldn't see her anywhere. I decided to check somewhere else. I entered a room and as I walked in I could instantly smell things that spelt trouble. I searched the room and spotted Lola lying on top of a battered grand piano. Typical Lola. I walked over stepping carefully over peoples bodies until I was standing right in front of her. I knelt down and whispered into her ear. "Lola? Lola? Wake up! We've got to go!" No sign of movement. Try again. I shook her body and tried to gently pull her hair, knowing it would hurt and it would wake her up. Still nothing.

Creak! I turned around and a guy I thought I recognised appeared in the doorway. He looked angry. "What do you think you're doing?!" I stammered and twiddled my thumbs, "I-I need to go home. My friends not waking up. Can you help me?" A faint hint of a smile started to grow around his face. He walked towards me and then he laughed. "You don't know, do you?" I'm pretty sure my heart stopped for a second because from then on, everything blew up. "Know w-what?" I looked over at Lola, still collapsed on the broken piano. "You're such a dumb blonde! Haha!! You really don't know at all!" I suddenly got really worried. "What are you talking about?" A moments silence passed and then he spoke again. "She's dead. They all are."

I felt every bone and nerve break inside me. "NO! THAT'S NOT TRUE! IT CAN'T BE!" Now I was yelling. I didn't know what to do. "See for yourself." I came over to Lola and as I was smart enough to know, I checked her pulse and her heartbeat. Nothing. "HOW COULD YOU? SHE WAS MY BEST FRIEND! YOU WON'T GET AWAY WITH THIS! NEVER!!"

I turned and ran as fast as I could towards the door but he was blocking the exit. I quickly scanned the hallway for another getaway. "You're not going anywhere. You're staying with me." Now I was angry. I was also upset. This was a recipe for disaster. I almost forgot about the pepper spray I had in my pocket in case of an emergency. This was the perfect time to use it. PSHHHH! As he was weakened, I dodged past him and ran up the hallway. As quickly as I could I opened the door and scrambled out. I carried on running not daring to look back.

A moment later I was running down the road, screaming and panting. I stopped to take a breath and saw that there was no one behind me apart from an old women walking her dog. Phew. I put my hand in my pocket to look for my phone but there was nothing inside. Oh no...

I turned and ran towards the women and asked where the nearest phone was. "Hello love, are you alright?" "Yes, I'm fine. Do you know where the nearest phone is? I really need some help." The women looked at me with a gentle smile and handed me a small mobile. "Here sweetie, use mine. Take all the time you need. No problem." I took it and quickly dialled 999. Only when they picked up I explained to them what happened, but they didn't believe me. They thought I pulling a prank!

I hung up and gave the women her mobile back. "Thanks." I turned away and started walking aimlessly down the road. After all, I had nowhere to go...
