Night has fallen
Darkness over came
I lie in my bed
My mind over stained
The silence sets in
I fall fast asleep
I raise up and notice
You at my feet
There you sit
With your long blonde hair
Completely laid back
In my big brown chair
I ask, "What are you doing?"
"Why are you here?"
You just look at me
With that soft, sensuous stare
We talked about everything
Trying not say
The three little words
I hear everyday
My closet door opens
I see something up top
Is it something I knew,
Or somehow forgot
I climb up the latter
To see things we missed
From love notes, to letters,
The day we first kissed
I turn to the ground
A frown on your face
I ask you what's wrong
"Your losing this race"
The words sharp as daggers
The feeling on me fell
The weight of the world
Had finally come down
I knew it was true
I knew long ago
But coming from you
I had to let go
I'm back in my bed
I raise in the dark
Everything's different
I'm back to the start
Shadows around me
I hear a faint song
My alarm is waking me
But my Sunshine is gone

Lost Between The Lines
PoetryThis collection of poetry is all from me. Most are just descriptions of dreams or emotional states in my life. This work will never be complete, because I'm always pushing myself to find new ways to express my emotions and put them into words. Enjoy.
