The people around me are like phantasms passing by,

I feel the mist in the wind everyrime I sigh.

The train runs as fast as the thoughts in my head,

Trying to conceive how much more lies ahead.

I stand uneasy as the cold sweat dropa feom my chin,

Hiding a smile, thinking that the distance between us is closing in.

Seeing you, after so many days of dreaming you smile,

And hearing your heart beat next to mine.

But your silhouette lies in front of me still unreachable,

As I stare distressed at the ticking clock on my table.

Just like a dreamer running away from waking up,

I feel my heart inflicted everytime the train stops.

The promised time passed as I sit there clenching my teeth,

Hurting inside as my life flee with every breath.

I thought I felt your touch against my cheeks,

But turns out to be my tears as your presence I seek.

I dropped by my destination with a grief-stricken mind,

Knowing it's only desolation I shall find.

Walking down the station waiting for the end,

Incomplete like the letters I didn't want to send.

I lifted my head and revived from the sight,

As I see your smiling face glowing in the light.

I ran, crying but as happy as I'll ever be,

For all this time you stood there waiting for me.
