Grinning at him I quickly set off the sped past the mob of boys meshed into a dog pile. However, before I could get much further, Jace decided to tackle me to the ground, pinning my arms above me head as he threw the ball to Kevin. I groaned and wiggled everywhere, "Jace get your fat ass off of me! My legs are going numb!"

He gasped," I do not have a fat ass, look!" He jump turned and wiggled the lob of fat in front of my innocent eyes. Gah, I did not need that image that now is gorilla glued into my head. I chuckled to myself, gorilla fits him perfectly.

"You dummy, I could've died and you know Harris would've been all over you," I smirked as I limped back to my dad who shook his head at me. Masen called this limp 'swagging' and naturally I smacked him upside the head. You see, Masen and everyone else who was smirking at my attempt to play football with them, is Edge Fall High School's football team.

"You know I like it that way," he winked at Harris, my older brother and he punched him on his shoulder. Harris says he doesn't roll that way; he's one of the major man-whore's of our school. Despite what he may believe though, I secretly think they've got a bromance going on and due to being on the football team, will never leak.

"How you are in my AP classes is beyond me, but if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go make some lemonade," I pushed him away and rolled my eyes when he stumbled down the stairs. "Crazy bitch," he muttered frowning and stomping all the way down like the baby he was. I laughed loudly in his face and patted his cheek," Do you want some lemonade" I asked kindly.

He flared his nostrils at me," No! Got any grapes?" He asked so serious that I almost believed him. "For you? Sure" I grinned and he was laughing as he walked with me to the kitchen.

"So you have a game coming up right" I asked, switching sides with him to grab the lemons from the window. Yeah, mom asked dad to put a lemon tree next to our window and woke up the next morning, planting the seeds. I spent my childhood watching and watering the tree, so it's my thing to take care of it. Especially since mom isn't here to help me.

"Yep, I've asked Jenny to come watch and wear my jersey," he blushed and I pinched his cheeks giggling, it was too cute. This macho muscle man of a football player had the longest crush on the shyest girl in our class, the girl barely peeped a hi when I befriended her but she's gotten better. It is safe to say, the girl had a phobia of anything male.

I smiled widely," About time buddy! However, as a friends duty," I pushed him forcefully against the fridge," You hurt Jenny, I will kick your ass so bad, you won't have to drink alcohol it'll be that bad. Got it mister?" I gave him my famous Nora glare, extra cold with a side of puffed cheeks.

He looked me straight in the eyes," You have my word," before laughing so hard, I could see tears rolling down his taut jawline. Damn him, I was being serious! I hate when guys laugh at me like that.

"Oh Nor-bear, I can't take you seriously when I have to look down." He was full on clutching his stomach and I glared angrily at him before taking action. By action, I tapped his shoulder, kicked his family jewels, then kneed him in the gut multiple times before running up the stairs. I slammed my door shut and went into my closet, shutting the door there and laid there with my stuffed penguin, Missy. You see, she was Missy because of all the other stuffed animals I have, it only makes sense.
