I rushed past my office, and sped into Felicity's office. Felicity Shane is the editor and chief of Shine Bright, New York's biggest magazine since OK. Felicity, who is my dad's friends wife, knew I was five minutes late. "I'm so sorry Felicity, my best friend Ronnie turned off my alarm clock, and I woke up at 7:15 and had 15 minutes to get ready."

"Just go to your office now." She hands me an envelope with a key attached to it and points to a door.

"That's my office?"

"Yes. Just go, please."

"Ugh, um okay."

I walked up to the door and unlocked it. "Great, now I know why Dad never hangs out with them." I mumbled. I am working for the fashion articles and am a great writer and sketcher, everyone says so (Not just my parents). My best friend, Veronica Gregory (everyone calls her Ronnie) and I moved to New York City for adventure. We lived in Montauk, Long Island before this.

I'm so excited for 5:00 today. Last week, we met with Mike Tyler, the producer and creator of a new show called "New York Forever". I got a text yesterday saying that we got a callback! Ronnie is thrilled, but I'm not sure it's my taste. It's every 18-year-olds dream to be on T.V., especially with Mike, he being a popular producer. He explained that we will be on the show with three other girls. There names are Angelina, Elizabeth, and Brianna. Mike told us he is gonna take real life events and twist them to become a show. It's pretty cool actually, I just don't know how to explain it. My phone vibrates and it's a text from Ronnie.

When I got home, Ronnie was pondering on what to wear. Today we were doing a table read on the script. Finally, she decided on a red, silky top with a simple black skirt. She wore peep-toed shoes on her feet.

I wore a white romper with these white heels that I got on Madison Avenue last week. "Alice, you do realize that we are supposed to dress sophisticated. We aren't going to a club." Two days ago, we had gone to a club, and thats where we got discovered.
