In the blink of an eye.

It was a hot day outside. Avery was wearing blue shorts, with a see through black lace top and underneath that a black bra. She walked towards the living room to see her mom and her two little brothers who were asleep. ''Hai mom.'' She stated walking towards the kitchen grabbing something to eat. ''Hello Darling, did you sleep well?'' Her mom asked smiling upon her. ''Yeah i did. Where is dad?'' She asked looking a bit curious. ''He's still out with the pack to clear out the vampires that were in our territory.'' Her mom said while sliding her hand through the little boys hair. Avery her dad was the alpha male of her pack and they all obeyed every word he said. ''Are they still here. What do they want from us mom?'' She asked a little uncomfortable. Her mom smiled and said ''Honey, there is no need to worry about that. Your dad is taking care of it.'' Avery shrugged it off and walked towards her mother. ''I'm going outside it's a beautifull day after all.'' She smiled kissing her mom on the forehead. ''That's fine honey, just be carefull.'' Her mom said smiling back at her. Avery walked outside wearing her converse sneakers to complete her outfit. She met up with her best friend Jake who is also a werewolf from their pack. Jake had wild ash brown hair and the most beautifull green eyes you've ever saw. He had muscles from training with the pack, overall Jake was a good looking boy. ''Hey Jake!'' She smiled waving at him. ''Hey Avery'' He smiled back at her. ''What do you wish to do today?'' He asked her while patting her head. ''You know i hate it when you do that.'' She shoves his hand of her head. ''I would like to take a walk in the forest, i mean it's beautifull outside.'' She smiled dragging him by the hand towards the forest. ''As you wish.. Princess.'' He chuckled. ''Stop saying that i'm not a princess.'' She told him. As they reach the forest they decide to do a running race. ''The first to get to that tree over there.. will be able to win something he or she wants'' Avery smirked looking backt at Jake. ''Fine by me but don't cry when i beat your ass.'' He smirked back at her.

''Alright.. 1, 2, 3! GO.'' Avery shouted as she rushes off as fast as she possibly can. She looks behind her to see Jake running after her. ''He-he SLOWPOKE.'' She shouts at him. ''Don't get to cocky!'' Jake shouts back at her. She once again checks behind her to see him still running behind her, but when she does she faceplants into a tree. ''Argh..'' She sighs getting up rubbing her head. Jake rushes infront of her and takes a sprint towards the finish. ''I told you not to get cocky..'' He smirked. ''Now to claim my price..i would like you to kiss me.'' He said while staring directly into her blue eyes with his green ones. Avery blushed at the thought of it, since she liked Jake quite a while now. ''As you wish..'' She softly said as she giggles and she leans into kiss him. But when she does she's interrupted. Someone bangs Jake on the head with something that's mad out of iron he drops to the ground holding his head in pain. ''JAKE!'' She shouts looking at him then straight to the man behind him. He hits Jake on the head again as he passes out. ''You will pay for that..'' She growls at him her eyes filled with anger. Just as she's about to run towards the man, someone holds her and pushes her against the tree injecting her with something. She throws him off, she isn't able to see him that well because he's wearing a black hoodie. Her vision get's blurry and she drops to the ground falling into a deep sleep.
