110 - Perfect For Each Other

Livi's P.O.V

"Livi it was beautiful, I can't believe it just happened" Katie said with the biggest smile on her face. We were sat on the sofa talking about Brad proposing.

"He just made everything so special with the story about his parents and then shouting it to the street..."

"He shouted it to the streets?!" I asked smiling and she nodded.

"With a Mega-phone from the roof" She smiled and I aw'd.

"I'm so glad he proposed, I couldn't believe it when he told me" I smiled hugging her.

"I can't believe you kept this quiet as well, you knew this was happening and you and Ben setting up the roof!" She laughed hitting my arm.

"Well I couldn't say no, he made it sound so romantic and I knew you'd love it" I laughed, "And Ben was just dragged along to help."

"Well thank you, it looked beautiful, I can't believe it's all real" She sighed falling back on the sofa.

"Show me the ring again?" I laughed and she held her hand up for me to see, "Ugh it's gorgeous, I can't believe you're going to be wearing that everyday, I can't believe he picked it out either."

"Neither, he's just... Perfect" She smiled at the celing.

"I'm so happy for you Katie, I feel you need to share this fantastic news with Megan and George" I laughed pulling her up off the sofa and towards the door. We walked next door and knocked on the door, unlike George, we don't just walk in!

"Hello my two favourite girls" George smiled as we walked in to the apartment.

"Someone has some news" I smiled sitting down on the sofa.

"And what would that be?" George asked spinning round to look at Katie.

"First, where's Megan?" She asked sitting on the breakfast bar.

"I'll get her" George said walking in to the back bit to go and find Megan. A few minutes later he appeared again with Megan behind him.

"So why was I dragged away from my room for this?!" Megan laughed sitting down next to me.

"Because, I hvae something I need to tell you all" Katie beamed, George and Megan looked so confused and kept looking between each other.

"I am engaged to the one and only Brad Simpson" She smiled holding her hand out so they could see the ring.

"Oh my god!" Both Megan and George screamed while jumping up and hugging her.

"I can't believe you're marrying someone famous" George laughed.

"When's the wedding?" Megan asked as we all sat down on the sofas.

"Slow down" Katie laughed, "We just got engaged, there isn't going to be any plans for a while."

"What, you have the chance to marry Brad Simpson, and you aren't going to do it right away" George said shocked and Katie laughed.

"You make it sound like I've got to marry him now or never."

"Katie you can marry him whenever, he is crazy about you and you two are perfect for each other" Megan smiled at her.

"I know, someone keeps telling me" She laughed looking over at me.

"Well it's true" I smiled as my phone went off in my pocket. The conversation continued but I zoned out to look at my phone. I smiled as I saw a message from Ben.

"Guys I'm going to have to dash off, how about we all have dinner tonight to celebrate the lovely couple, ring up Brad and get him to come too yeah?" I said getting up off the sofa.

"That sounds great, I'll ring him in a bit" Katie smiled up at me.

"I'll trust you three to book a nice restaurant, for 6, if you don't mind Ben joining us" I said moving towards the door.

"Of course that's fine" Katie smiled as I walked out. I ran in to our apartment and picked up some money before heading down the stairs and out the front door.

"Hello you" Ben said slinging his arm around me.

"How was your competition?" I asked as I smiled up at him. Ben had just got back from a dance competition this morning, after we set up last night he had to set off and had only just got back now.

"It was amazing" Ben smiled down at me, "I came second but the guy who won was just insanely good."

"Second is amazing though Ben, I'm so proud of you" I said hugging him.

"On the way back I was bored so I thought I would look at what sort of assignments we had to do next year, I know it's not for a while but I thought I would just have a look through so I got information up on my phone. Anyway one of the dances is a paired piece in whatever style of dance you and your partner choose. Will you do the honour of dancing with me next year" he said stopping along the street. I laughed as we stood outside in the rubbish cold English weather waiting for my answer.

"I would love to!"

"Thank god, I was worried you were going to make me go with some randomer, I'm not surprised someone hasn't already asked you" he said as we walked in to Starbucks.

"They know I'd only dance with you" I winked before ordering my drink. We both waited for our orders before sitting down in the big comfy chairs in the corner.

"I love how even in this weather you still order a creme whip thing" Ben laughed looking at my drink.

"You know I don't like coffe" I laughed and he smiled.

"Yet you always insist we come to a coffee shop."

"Shut up" I laughed.

"So what has been happening in the life of Livi?"

"Well, not technically my life but, Katie said yes last night" I smiled at him and his mouth dropped open.

"That's amazing, I'm so happy for them" he smiled and I nodded.

"Me too, I really can't think of two people more perfect for each other! Anyway, tonight Katie, Brad, Megan, George and I are going out for dinner to celebrate their engagement, I would love it if you could join us, so would Katie and Brad."

"Yeah I would love to come" He smiled.

"Good, because we can also celebrate your win from today" I smiled at him and he laughed.

"I don't want to take away their moment" Ben laughed and I shook my head.

"You won't, only you and me need to celebrate you, it's you and me in this dance acadamy, we're it, you and me."

"It sure is Gilbert" He smiled, "Now let's go and congratulate soon to be Mr and Mrs Simpson on their engagement."

"Where are you going to bet that dinners even booked for?"

"I'm betting pizza express" Ben nodded as we started walking down the street to my apartment.

"Come on, we both know it will be Nandos" I said raising my eyebrows and Ben laughed. The friendship me and Ben have is completely different to the friendship me and Katie have but still I don't know what I would do without him.
