Annoying.
So annoying.
She wasn't a high school student who would stuff earbuds to avoid this childish chaos. She slightly scratched her temple with her index before taking up her dull and drop-off gaze from medical files.
"Shut up." She growled at her junior who were gulped by her sudden snap. They weren't surprised by this as this getting regular by the mean time of 6 months. Just more 1.5 years and they would be free from her.
"You two scumbugs! Your shifts are extended for 6 hours more." She raised her head and dropped herself on that uncomfortable chair again.
"But-" "8 hours" The intern of her couldn't even protest her torture as he know there's no way she would stop.
She smirked the way her one command made these guys life living hell. Her power, her aura on other makes her so proud that she can't even look down.
She was one of those people who wasn't sad but not happy as well. She liked that neutral feeling but she surely loved power.
The power she earned and no one can snatch it from.
She will neverneed anyone beside her again. So she never feared to lose someone as she had none on her side. She never liked idea of being second. But her story made her play the role of 'second lead'.
She took power to fulfill the empty place around her. As a doctor, she had the utmost position that one can achieve in her age. She chose to use every bit of her authority sadistically.
Little she knew that her position and influence won't be in her control, very soon.
