Chapter 9: He's Going Back To His Old Self.

It had been a month since MadPat found us... Nathan kept saying that he was going to be fine. Things would be the way they used to be, aside from me and Steph being here. Anti told us that they all had powers, and I was wondering what they had.

"Well, for a start, I can read minds." Nathan said.

"You know what I can do, or you should anyway."

"Tear someone's head off if they touch me?"

"Well we can all do that!" Nate said laughing.

"No, my brother can get those marks. That's when you know he's mad. He hadn't done that for awhile though.... Not until you got here, at least. He seems more protective of you than any of his belongings."

"Is that so?" I looked at Nate, "Then maybe I should go snuggle with Dark."

"Don't you fucking dare..." Nate growled, pulling me against him tighter.

"I don't think she was serious, Nate." Anti said.

"Anti controls emotions and I have more strength and the fastest speed of any vampire to exist." Dark said, "And my lap is still open if you wanna join me."

 Nate growled lowly, making Dark look away in slight fear. I was interested, I didn't know that vampires had powers like in Twilight. I can say, though, they are better when you see it in real life and your mate is so protective. I get the feeling that Nate is more protective of me than Edward is of Bella.

"That's because he is." Nathan called from the kitchen.

He walked back out with a plate of mac-n-cheese with sushi and fudge on the side in separate bowls-so things didn't mix. He gave them to me and Nate looked at his older twin with a scowl. I giggled and kissed him on the cheek before taking a bite of my food. MadPat and Steph were talking on the other couch and having a lot of fun. Stephanie must be what's made him better. One thing's for sure, though, He's going back to his old self.
