Chapter One: Why us?

Blossom's P.O.V

   beep, beep, bee-. I hit the off button on my alarm and stretch. First day of highschool. I float over to my closet. As I start to pick out my outfit, which consists over dark blue skinny jeans, pink uggs, a pink crop top with red sparkly hearts covering it, and a red tank top under it, I heard a beep then a smash.

   "Seriously, Buttercup. That's the fifteenth one this year. You got to stop destroying them." I state loudly. I sigh. exasperated as I hear a groan from her and a loud bang as she falls to the ground.

   I walk out of my room fully dressed and hop down the steps to the kitchen as I start to smell Bubbles's cooking. I take a seat at the table just as Bubbles sets down my plate of food.

   "Mornin' Blossom. I can't believe it's our first day of highschool today." Bubbles cheerd happily. I nod and smile as I take a bite of the wonderous food Bubbles cooked. I practically melted as I tasted it.

   Suddenly, we hear a door slam closed and Buttercup slide down the railing. "Morning." she looks over and spots food. "Any bacon?" Bubbles nods just as Buttercup darts over and scarfs down a good portion on bacon that was cooked.

   "Jesus christ, Buttercup. Slow down. It's not like we're going to steal it from you." I laugh

   "You never know." she responded at she clutched the plate. Bubbles and I burst out laughing. I look at the clock and take a spit take. Oh, no. We're going to be late for school.

   "Girls, time to go." I shout as I pop on my book bag and dart out the door my sisters close behind. We fly up and quickly towards the school. We reach the gates just as the first bell rings.

   We land in front of school's door and dart through the hall to our homeroom. Just as we get there we bump up into three people causing all of us to fall.

   Buttercup was the first to recover and looks up and growls. Bubbles automatically looks up and gasps. instinctly I look up and regret because there two ruby red eyes were looking into my pink ones.
