Skylar's POV

All I had was Jungkook and Soomi. Jin was still recovering. Soonhee finally woke up, but she's not allowed to hang out with me anymore, nor is Soomi, but she still does. Taehyung left me and returned to his old ways. I guess people can't really change.

Jungkook, Soomi and I had agreed on going to the movies after dinner, however, Soomi's mother didn't know I would be going.

I just wore high waisted jeans, a cropped gray sweatshirt and some gray low rise converse.

Jungkook would be picking Soomi up first, and then me. When I heard the honk from Jungkook's car, I rushed out the door. I did ask for permission, but my father just simply ignored me, so I took that as a yes.

By the time the movie was over, it was dark outside. We then went to get some burgers at a McDonald's near by.

After walking down 3 blocks from the McDonald's, Soomi remembered she had left her beanie on the table we had eaten. She insisted that we stay here and she would run to get it, even though Jungkook and I told her we could all go back.

She had walked maybe a block from where Jungkook and I were standing, and Jungkook and I were watching the cars pass by. When we look back, Soomi is no longer there and we heard a scream come from and alley near the next street.

Jungkook and I ran to where we heard the scream. Two guys were running down the alley, one of them carrying Soomi.

Jungkook ran to the guy not carrying Soomi and hit him in the neck with his elbow. The guy carrying Soomi then dropped her to fight Jungkook. I ran to Soomi, untied her quickly and took off the tape that had been carelessly placed over her mouth.

The guy that Jungkook had hit in the neck had gotten up and was about to hit Jungkook with a broken bottle, but I was able to get a hold of a large rock and I threw the guy's feet, making him scream in pain and then fall and hit his head. I turned around and saw that the other guy had been knocked out by Jungkook.

"I'll take her home," Jungkook said

We both helped Soomi, who was crying in shock, to get up. We helped her get into Jungkook's car.

"This is all my fault," I mumbled

"It's not your fault. They are criminals. It's their fault not yours," Jungkook said sternly.

I got in the car for a bit and hugged Soomi.

"I'm so sorry Soomi. It should've been me not you," I said

"D-don't say that," she said as I felt her tears making my jacket wet.

"You should go home, I'll get a taxi," I said to her

"Will you be okay?" She asked to which I nodded in response

I decided I would walk back to the McDonald's to get Soomi's beanie back. As I walked back, I saw a familiar face followed by an unfamiliar one.

"Skylar! What are you doing out so late?" Mark asked me

"I was with my friends, but they had to leave for an emergency," I answered.
