I awaken drenched in sweat. With only one memory of the night before. The dream. I found my path which will lead me to my other halfs. I need to start my adventure now if I want to make it to the pond that glows by midnight.
I start off by gathering in my surroundings. I need to know where I am. All I know is that their is a voice in my head telling me I need to head south. The voice holds so much power and strength. It's like some part of me awakened. The voice talks and gives me guidance. I can talk to her by just thinking. It's amazing, but impossible. I'm pretty sure I'm going crazy, but kinda wanna know and see where this glowing pond is.
So I see off on my adventure. I'm still wearing a Hollister grey striped crop top with a matching pair of short shorts with white vans. I don't know where I got this outfit I've never seen it in my life. But that's a question I can figure out the answer to later.
As soon as I find the direction of south with the help of my inner voice guider. Who I found out was named Octave (pronounced Oct-ave or Oct-avy). She won't tell me why I'm heading South or what the dream was about, but I feel I can trust her. So I head straight ahead.
2hours later
"Octave, I think I'm lost," I say for the third time. She hasn't answered me since I left. I don't know why. She just won't answer me. All she said before we left was "Connect with your inner animal," I just don't get it. What inner animal?
All of a sudden my feet just take off at full speed in a direction. Then Octave says "Use your instincts and connect. You need to focus and listen to nature. Hear the winds call. Focus on the dew falling off the trees leafs. Don't think just act. You only have 4hours left to make it to the glowing pond. It will get dark soon and when dark comes your vulnerable until you connect with your inner animal. Act don't think," I take her advice and listen to the wind. I look around and see that the moss is growing on the North of the trees so I just go the opposite way. Since I took her advice on following instinct I seem to just walk without even knowing where I'm heading. I feel like there is something inside me wanting to get out. I guess this is my inner animal. Instead of resisting the pull I let it take over. My vision gets blurry and I feel discomfort coursing through my body. Then I black out for a couple of seconds. My memory of the previous night surges through me. And when I awaken seconds later I'm in my Phoenix form.
I admire my beautiful physique. I just stare my galaxy patterned feathers in awe.
As soon as I adjust to flying I start letting my animal side out to take control. I watch in the back of my mind as Octave, my animal side, takes the reins and heads south.
