Nolem Jopal

Chapter 1

"You have to save yourself  Nolem! Get out of here!" my mother screamed as I ran from the home that I once knew. I will avenge your death mother even if its the last thing I do! I thought to myself as tears streamed down my face. I ran from the house because those things were still there searching for me. Once I was out of sight, I stopped running. I walked through the desert for a long time until I could faintly see a shack looking thing. When I entered there were these cylinder things laying on the table. I grabbed one and it automatically turned on. It shot out a long beautiful green laser. I then realized what it was, it was a Jedi Knight light sabor. A mans voice behind me gasped. I turned and shut it off, an older man and a boy about my age stared at me and then at the light sabor.

"Its never opened before, how did you do that?" the boy asked.

"Better yet why are you in our house?" the man said. I told them about my mother and what happened. That I thought the house was abandoned. "Well. I guess you can stay here for a while you will stay in Josh's room." at those words I kinda froze, I was going to be staying in a really hot guys room.

I managed to stutter,"Oh, okay. Can you tell me why it opened for me and not you." I asked Josh

"Well they say that a light sabor rarely chooses its user, and it opens to the most powerful Jedi Knights if it chooses." Josh said.

"But it opened up to me and I'm not a Jedi Knight or not that I know of." I replied in disbelief.

"Then tomorrow we can see if you are or not but we'll need sleep." he said as he took me to his room. I was looking around and saw a mirror. I observed the filthy 14 year old girl, who just lost her mom, who might be a Jedi, looking back at me. I happened to turn at the wrong moment, Josh was taking off his shirt. Wow he's beautiful, no stop it Nolem get a hold of yourself. You don't even know this guy.

"So um where am I sleeping?" I asked. He patted one side of the bed."And what about you?" he patted the other side of his bed. My mouth suddenly fell open in shock.

"What? Never slept in the same bed as a boy before?" he asked rather shocked,"and I'll take that as a no." he added with a slight giggle, and I felt my checks get warm. He most have realized it because he started to laugh.

"So. What's your name?" he asked.

"Nolem Jopal." I replied.

He let me borrow one of his shirts to sleep in. I got on the side of the bed he told me to get on. When I finally relaxed I felt him get on the other side of the bed,"Good night." he said.

"Night." I replied and smiled to my self

I woke up to find my body rapped by doth his arms around me, and I was curled up against him. "Um...Josh, Josh please let go of me." I asked. His eyes fluttered open,and embarrassed he let me go. I said jokingly,"Was a little cold, wasn't it?" He glared at me for a minute then smiled,"I think its time to see if your a Jedi Knight or not."
