8 am: Moonlight City, Nevada. The orange sun colored the pavement so it shined like rime-stones that complimented the clouds. Dust was swept by the hoards of auditionees piling on the outskirts of the school building, just tarrying for the backdoor entrance to the auditorium to glide open. Among these few people were a recognizable trio, Lesley, Lillian, and Liam. Liam acted different in public. He kept to himself and tried to use Lillian as a human shield rather than a sex slave. The intensity of the crowd was not a good blend with the 8 am mirage. Nonetheless, he tried to poke at Lesley to ask her yet AGAIN, why they were auditioning for a play! "Why are we bothering to do this again??" "If you must know, this is one of the only reasons the hospital would let us out. So we could be social, and optimistic. That and you shouldn't be complaining in front of our monitor." Yes, and the only other way they can come outside is if they had a personal spy-cam surveilling them 24/7.
Lesley glanced at her watch and puffed, "I mean, are you too pussy for thou theater sir Liam who shall not speaketh thee last name?" She knew her Shakespeare, but all Liam could do was seat her annoyance away and pretend he didn't care. Shuffling past them—were two boys who seemed to enjoy each others company. Kyle, the chief's son, and his new "friend" Cody, tried their best to dodge the natural attention you'd bargain from just waiting around. "I hate plays, why did my mon sign me up for these auditions?! Ugh, at least you're here with me." While no one was looking, he grabbed fo Kyle's hand, holding it in secret. But that didn't last for too long, because a preppy voice blasted to throughout the crowd and elongated towards Kyle. "Kyle mi amigo! Eeeeeek! Estoy tan feliz de verte!" It was non other than Garcia, roping Kyle into a hug. And behind her was another brooding Latino, Anthony De La Cruz. In other words, Kyle's only friend that knows about his...whereabouts.
"Ohh, where have you been??? I missed you so much!!" She released the hug, gravitating her attention toward Cody. "Who's this??" Anthony had a smug look, he knew damn sure who that was.
Lillian looked at the commotion by the pink haired girl. She froze, she knew who that was, she also knew the guy she was hanging around with. In all honesty, Lillian was scared, shaking in her own converse. She wrapped her arms around herself holding on tightly. "Do we really have to be here?" She asked Lesley as tears flooded her eyes. "I don't think I can handle this."
Lillian wasn't the only one shaking. Kyle had forgotten to tell Garcia about anything that happened with Cody, realizing this when they hugged. Once they pulled back he smiled, and noticed Anthony's look. "Oh that's Cody! He's the son of my Dad's new partner," he said, trying to make sure Garcia wasn't onto him. Zachary also made sure no one was onto him. After all he was stalking Anthony from a good few yards away. Oh Anthony~. You look so good today! He did have an odd interest in joining this play, but not for reasons one might've normally had. The only real reason he had, was to make sure that the only person close to Anthony was him.
Cody didn't know why, but he couldn't stand there without working in his skin. He felt this queasy stride in the pit of his stomach, and his shoulders ached a little. Not only was the feeling in his gut, but in his heart as well. It was strange, and it made his nose scrunch up, not so deliberately excited to meet Kyle's supposed friends. "Nice to meet you guys, I guess." He said, bumping past them both with not even a word to Kyle. Something was wrong. Extremely wrong. Because while Anthony stood around, completely oblivious to why Cody was so vexatious, Garcia's scrutiny was in the clutches of the girl in the back row. Black hair that you could spot from a mile away, and distinctive marks stretched across her throat. Lillian was here. She didn't know how, nor did she want to care. Garcia couldn't tell if they were friends, acquaintances, or even plain out enemies. Since Lillian has made it pretty clear she wanted nothing to do with people at school. Even though she was blaming them for something that seemed to be out of their control. "Look who's here," Garcia was pointing to Lillian, but Anthony was plastering a big grin because of someone else. Isaac Moreno, the bad boy with an even more wicked subconscious, strolled through the crowd, everyone eyeing him in shock. The way was made clear leading up to Anthony, Anthony basically running into the other male's arms in a momentous struggle.
