After revealing my powers to Kota, and him being super surprised, I went home. I was glad he thought he was asleep or hallucinating.

I heard something, sounding like my phone viberating. Alisa.

I ran to my phone, and picked it up.

"Victor! You need to get out of that house!" She seemed panicked.

I was confused. "Wh-"

"Now!"

Then I realized why she was warning me. Me and Alisa knew each other powers. I had fire, and she had the power to read minds and tell the future. I grabbed my cousin's (Maddie's) laptop that was on my bed, grabbed a bag filled with books and school things, and ran down the stairs.

"Alisa, what's happening. Er- what's going to happen?"

"Fire!"

I was shocked. A few moments later, the fire alarms started going off. No one was home, not even the maid Muriel for once. I red lined Kota and Luke, and continued to run down the stairs. My phone had hung itself up, so I was alone for the times being.

I could tell the smoke was coming from behind me, and as I glanced behind me I saw the flames coming down the stairs, and at that point I was running as fast as I could to get out of the house.

After all of the stairs burning down, and me about to reach the front door, the floor above me was collapsing. On my escape.

Instead of risking getting burnt, I threw my window open, jumping out of the window.

To my surprise, there was Luke, and Alisa.

I ran over to them, dropping the bag.

"Victor! Are you okay?"

I nodded. "Thanks for the warning. I was able to save a few things."

"That wasn't the priority, Vic." Alisa said.

"I know, but I had a little time."

"So that's worth risking your life?" Alisa shouted.

"Sure." I responded.

Luke was silent, watching our conversation continue.

"How did you two even get here that fast?" I asked.

Luke spoke up. "We were already on our way, when she knew someone was going to set your house on fire."

The question that would forever bother me was, how did the fire happen?
