Celina ran with the cops hot on her tail, who knew that going on to a crime scene without authorisation is against the law. She ran into the woods without fear, everyone in the whole town was scared of it but not her. The Red Woods was what it was called, it got its name from all the animal attacks and murders that happened there but it has stopped over the past ten years. She hurriedly jumped over the barbed fence and when she was almost over the fence and out of the woods, her shirt's collar got caught and she had to rip her shirt free ,getting scratched on the way down, the deep cut was agonising but she didn't want to scream as she made enough noise falling. The cops came closer and she quickly ran and hid behind the condemned Morris house.
The two young cops got out the car "Harris are you sure the person came here" the cop on the right said shivering in fear. "Yes Jim I'm sure , I don't know why though, no one comes HERE! of all the places to hide." said Harris growing more weary and fearful by the minute. Then the full moon came out and shone down upon the burnt house, you could almost feel the sorrow the house had. The police dog started getting frantic, she barked and howled in panic. An eerie, unearthly growl and howl came from the house, it almost made Celina run away, almost. That was the final straw for the cops they left the house and continued searching the safer part of the forest.
The creepy house looked like it belonged in a horror movie and it sure and the story to match. December 2004, the Morris's were having a Christmas party, it was four years before all the murders and animal attacks began, when the woods were well kept and peaceful, the entire town was invited to their elaborate party and then at 11 o'clock after everyone had gone home a gruesome murder took place. Blood was everywhere, the organs spread across the floor like some sick piece of artwork the bodies were so ripped up and destroyed that the cops couldn't identify who it was but it was the entire Morris family as no one had seen or heard from any member of the Morris family, so they were declared dead and sadly they couldn't find the murderer if it was even a murderer. Celina was awoken from her thoughts to a dog freaking out, Celina thought they had found her but they didn't the police had left because the dogs were freaking our so they decided to move on because the person actually didn't do much damage.
So after they left curious Celina wanted to know what spooked the dogs so she approached the house with caution and first peered into the miniscule hole in the cellar door which had a spiral on the doors, the same one as her locket but she didn't notice that, she was more interested in what was inside and by the light of the full moon she saw a human figure, the shadow turned to her and every part in her body was telling her to run away but she didn't she stood there enthralled and curious, it got down and ran to the door screaming and howling and then reality came crashing down and Celina bolted away as fast as she could. "Why on earth did I stay" she wondered as she sneakily crept back into her bedroom through the window.
she snuck a look at the clock, it read 1 o'clock, Sunday, 14 of January."Celina, Celina, Celina Blevine!" an angry voice shouted, which woke Celina with a start. "Huh, Wha?!" "Now as I was saying before Miss Blevine's snoring interupted me" he said with his cold blue eyes shooting darts at her, Celina grew red and hid her face behind her book. " Welcome to grade 10, I'm your home room and History teacher, Mr Collen." 'What happened to cheery Miss Claire' thought Celina. After an extremely easy three periods, she went to lunch and sat at her usual spot with her foster family and Tasha. Last night's events still plagueing her mind, she needed to get to the library. She was so lost in her thoughts she didn't even hear her 'brother' trying to get her attention, now you see Celina didn't have any family still alive (that is known) so she has been in the foster system for ten years and last year she had been transferred here, to Emerine a small town not well known at all. "Celina time for class" said Rhydian frantically trying to get his sister's attention, not wanting to be late for class. The day rushed by and the entire time she was thinking about what she saw, what she heard and who was that or maybe what was that. DRING the final bell rang and Celina ran to the library to research and find out what she saw that night.
