A/N: I had this one-shot drafted forever and I finally got the balls to publish it. ENJOY LMAO

"Hey, Marinette. What're you working on?"

Adrien put his hand on the cool metal of the locker behind her. The bluebell eyed girl looked up at him, eyes wide, and quickly buried her sketchbook underneath her sweater. Adrien didn't notice the shade of pink settle in Marinette's cheeks.

"Oh! H-Hey, Adrien! I'm just designing on a work! Oh, erm- I mean working on a design!"

Adrien lightly chuckled at her stutters. It was so like her to stutter whenever he talked to her. Adrien wasn't sure why she did, around Chat Noir, she was strong, determined, and...able to form coherent sentences. Is she scared of me?...

"Mind if I take a look?..." Adrien asked, innocently.

He grasped her arm softly and attempted to get a hold of her pink sketchbook before she smacked his hand away lightly. He glanced down to see her smirking up at him. She seemed to control her actions better than just a minute ago.

"No can do, A-Adrien. I've already designed it, I just need to have it sewed. It's not ready yet. But I think it will be tonight."

Marinette tried to walk past him to get to Alya, who was winking at her in the corner of the locker room but was stopped when Adrien laid his other hand on the other side of the locker, pinning her. She could feel a fire burning in her whole face as she looked up at him, curiously. His light green eyes were intense which vaguely reminded her of her crime-fighting partner. She didn't know what was scarier, the fact that she was pinned up against the lockers by the boy of her dreams or that he looked so much like Chat Noir at the moment.

"FIne, but show me when it's done, okay?"

Adrien's eyes were half-lidded and he smirked as he released his grip on the lockers and walked away. Marinette watched him leave in shock, her back sliding down the lockers as she fell to the ground. Alya came up from behind one of the halls. She chuckled at her friend's reaction.

"Wow, girl. You totally did it this time. Your brain practically stopped working when he was talking to you!"

Marinette's cheeks were a dark shade of red, and her eyes were hazy. She was still staring in the direction Adrien left as a huge smile crept up her face. She shuddered.

"Ohh, Alya...He's so-"

"-Gorgeous, wonderful, sexy. Marinette, you do realize you're not gonna get Adrien to love you if you drool on him all the time."

That seemed to snap Marinette out of her reverie. She gaped at Alya.

"Um...did you not just hear me speak to Adrien without a single stutter?!"

The bell rang, interrupting their conversation and they grabbed their backpacks. Thankfully, no one was close to where they were standing. Alya hugged Marinette as they walked out of the locker room.

"Okay girl, we'll talk about this after school. Don't get too awkward without me. Byeee!"

"Bye, Alya." Marinette smiled and waved at her hazel-eyed best friend.

........................................................................

Marinette watched the clock, intently while chewing on the eraser of her pencil. Mrs. Bustier's voice was drowned out by her racing thoughts. 5...4...3...2...The loud bell rung, signaling the end of the school day and Marinette could finally talk to Alya about the outfit she was going to show Adrien.

She caught Alya walking a few feet ahead with Nino, which actually made Marinette giggle. They were a really cute couple anyway. She ran to catch up with her friends.
